October ZVA Creative Blog Hop

Zva Creative and my fellow Design Team members welcome you to our June blog hop! We are excited about it and look forward to sharing our new work with you!
Today's Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative's Facebook page! Be sure head on over to check it out! You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way).
As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way! The Blog Hop starts today, October 28th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, October 29th.

Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, October  30th on  Zva Creative's facebook page. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to Zva's blog on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! To increase your chances of winning:
* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
* Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva's facebook page and "like" our page or leave a comment there to tell us that you stopped by if you already like follow us there!

The blog hop begins here at Zva Creative's Facebook page. Your next stop is Anna!. Enjoy!

And here is the list of participants in order.
Thank you for joining us!

Elle's Studio plus Freckled Fawn equals Heaven :)

Happy Sunday everybody. It's been a rough week in the Martel household. Edward had a cold so Pete took him to the doctors on Tuesday and the doc said he just had a little cold. But, come Wednesday, he was vomiting. So not cool. It was awful and then on Friday night, he woke up screaming at 4am. that his legs hurt. I think he was experiencing "growing pains." That was the longest, heart breaking, nine minutes ever... He seems to be doing well today. I just hope that Pete and I aren't next...

Anyway, on a scrappy note, I love Elle's Studio and Freckled Fawn products together. They work so well together! If you haven't checked out the OHDEERME kit club check it out because I think you might like their concept! It's strictly an embellishment kit club. And a girl can never have too many embellishments. I haven't been apart of a kit club in a long time, but I couldn't not join! I love the mixture of embellishments you get each month. And if you visit the site today, you can even see a little sneak peak of what's in store for you next month. Fun stuff.

Here's a layout that I created a few weeks ago for a call. It never got picked up so I decided to share in here and on some message board galleries.

Also, I wanted to share a small tip with those of you who aren't comfortable stamping directly onto your layout. Try stamping your images on white cardstock and cutting them out with scissors! Then adhere them onto the layout. It works like a charm and you can hardly tell ;) You can also stamp your images on the back of patterned paper to create your very own die cut :)

A few of my recent favorites

Hi all. I've been scrapping a lot lately. I have created lots of beautiful layouts using American Craft's "Cut & Paste" and "Dear Lizzy Polka Dot" collections. Fun stuff. I think I'm in need of some more American Crafts stuff. I just saw that they have a fall collection available. So as soon as I can get my little hands on it, it's mine :)

Here are some of my most recent favorites. They all hold a special part of my heart.

That's what she said...

Lately, people have been asking when I'm going to have another one... And I've even had people tell me, "don't you think it's about time you have another one?" This bothers me because it's none of their business. So I smile politely... I think... and say I'm done. And they will give me a dirty look. Well quite frankly I don't care what people think I should do. So what if I look like a bad mom for not giving Edward a sibling. I am fully aware of how much I can handle and if I have another baby it will push me over the deep end. Not only will I end up in a locked room, I would not be able to provide for them financially. So please. If you're one of those people who likes to judge others for just having one child, keep your thoughts to yourself.

I'm with awesome

Hi everyone. Hope all is well. I know it's fall and all, but I have a summer layout that I've been wanting to share... I was hoping to get it picked up for publication, but it didn't happen. I love the Dapper Dan collection by Glitz Design. It was my most favorite out of their four releases from summer cha. And this collection is great for scrapping little mans :) If you've been looking for this collection, click here!

Love this.

Hi everyone. Not much going on here, but I just wanted to pop on and post a layout that I created today using lots of American Crafts and Elle's Studios with a touch of bling from Freckled Fawn. I really love how this one turned out. The colors look great against the photos. What do you think?

I am so sad about Creative Memories going digital. It means that I no longer have the opportunity to buy their punches. I've been buying and using their punches faithfully for years! They have the best quality punches I've ever used. The leaves punches on this is a punch that I've had for over six years now. It's a personal favorite along with my corner rounder :)
