Playing With Watercolor Paints

Hi everyone. Today, I have a fun layout to share with you. Lately, I've been having fun with watercolor paints. While, it might look intimidating to use, it's actually a lot of fun and very easy to use. For this layout, I cut a variety of hearts using my Silhouette Portrait and used it as a template to color my hearts in the background. Once the paint was dry, I used a pen to trace around the hearts to make them pop. I love how this layout came together.

Dear Lizzy Documentary

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you had a great week. Mine was a long week, but not too bad. I feel like my days are getting shorter and shorter and there's just not enough time to get everything done. I am thankful that soccer season is just about done so I can focus on doing some things for me such as watching my favorite TV shows, "Vampire Diaries, Scandal and Outlander." Also, I feel like I never get time to scrap anymore because I'm either too busy or too tired. :) I know, welcome to Motherhood. Right? I hear ya.

Anyway, I've been working on this layout in spurts over a few days, just adding to it here and there. This way is better than not scrapping at all. I bought the Dear Lizzy Documentary papers and rub-ons from the Clique Kits store over a month ago and it's just been sitting on my desk until this week when I decided to dig in and make something pretty.

I love the patterns and colors in this beautiful collection. And the rub-ons are fab! I used the heck out of the rub-ons on this layout. Also, I added the polka dot transparency and stickers from Bella Blvd. that I had in my stash. The "lucky" sticker word came in a Clique Kit a few months ago. They were exclusive stickers that Clique Kits and Pretty Little Studio worked on together. I am almost out! These sticker words came in handy on a few of my layouts. And I simply cannot get enough of the transparency die cuts by Pinkfresh Studio. LOVE this company!

I believe there are two sets of the paper packs and rub-ons left in the Clique Kits store. Use Aloha25 to save 25% by tomorrow! There are so many things in the shop that I want, but I can't look. I need to focus on Christmas shopping, not scrapbook goodies.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Rub-ons: American Crafts, Transparency die cuts: Pinkfresh Studio, Transparency: Stickers: Bella Blvd., Sticker word: Pretty Little Studio, Enamel dot: Freckled Fawn, Pen: Marvy, Mini stapler: Tim Holtz.

Larriland With My Sisters

Happy hump day all. I have one more layout to share with you. I managed to get quite a few patterns from the Autumn Day collection by Photo Play Paper on this one. And of course, I still haven't gotten enough of these stickers yet. Also, I used the exclusive stamp on this layout. They are still available in the Clique Kits store! Again, don't forget to use NICOLE10 to save 10% on your order. A little secret, Clique Kits is having a Halloween sale. Hurry up and check it out!

I love this photo of the three of us. We all look so pretty in our fall colors while we picked apples. Who would have thought that picking hours would be so entertaining. It really was. I've never been apple picking so it was something different. And I liked it.

Products: Patterned Paper: Stickers: Photo Play Paper, Acrylic stamps: Clique Kits, Acrylic block: Ink: Stampin'Up,.

In case you're wondering how I got my letters on so straight, I used a ruler!

Soccer

This is Edward's last week of soccer until next fall. It sure has kept me busy these past two months. I am actually glad it's almost over because these last few weeks have been cold on that field! And Edward doesn't do cold... In fact, on Monday, he had ZERO interest in playing, partly because he was cold and grumpy, while fighting a cold. Poor thing. Here are a few of my favorite soccer photos from these past two months.

My little organizer... He lined up the balls so he could be cool and jump over them. Look at Peek-A-Boo's face. She is not pleased. haha

I tried to get a decent team picture, but Edward was not cooperating. And we only had  out of 12 team mates that showed up.

These kids were fun to watch. Seriously, they picked up real quick. Next year, they are going to be great. :)

Edward claims that he doesn't like soccer, but he is always smiling and laughing on the field. He enjoys it, I think.

I really like Coach Russ, he did such a great job with the kids. He has a lot of patience...

Doesn't it look like Edward is enjoying himself?

Love this... enough said. He's such a cutie.

Look closely... do you see what I see? A new bond. Love it. So sweet. Edward and Ben had so much fun together. They are two goofy, funny kids.

Edward was rocking it out on the field, dancing.

Edward was always near the coach's daughter. :) She's a pretty little thing.

One more game! Thank goodness. The question is what do we sign up for next? I am thinking about swim lessons for the spring, but need to find something to keep him busy this winter.

Pizza Fun

Hi all. Edward and I had a lazy day today! We slept in, watched "Inside Out" and then made pizza! He had such a great time making his very own pizza and said that he "had the most fun ever." That's what I was hoping he'd say. Edward just went into his room quietly. I think he's sneaking in a nap. I should probably join him!

He woke me up at 10:30 with his Kindle shining in my face asking me to print off his Mine Craft paper dolls! Those things are such a pain in the ass to do. I spent three hours making them yesterday and they looked so sad. LOL. Today, I did better. I think I'm getting the hang of it. My glue dots, foam squares and tape came in handy!

Fall Is Amazing

Happy Sunday everyone. I told you that I was planning on scrapping the heck out of the Autumn collection by Photo Play Paper. I seriously cannot get enough of the stickers in this collection. And I used the exclusive stamps by Clique Kits on here as well. Get yours while you can because I am sure they won't last long in the store. Save yourself 10% using NICOLE10 in the coupon code section of check out.

Edward had such a great time hay maze at Larriland's with Aunt Katie. They had such a great time together. We even went on a hayride that was lots of fun. Love these pictures of these two. This is how they role.

I love the "Have a lovely Day" stamp by Clique Kits. It's one of my favorite sentiments. In case you're wondering where I got my acrylic block, I got it from stampin'Up and the quality is great. They offer them in a variety of sizes.

Notice how I used all of the stickers. I can't get enough of them. Seriously.

I felt that the geo sticker needed something so I added an enamel dot in orange.

I used a foam square to make the "this autumn day" sticker pop off the picture a little bit. Also, I tucked a tab sticker behind the photo and used the Fall sticker banners for my title.

October Clique Kits Pep Rally

Hi everybody. It’s Nicole here, wishing you a fabulous Wednesday! Welcome to the October Pep Rally. This month, we hope to inspire you with the "Funfetti" kit. It is chocked full of Pinkfresh Studio goodies that I think you will love. This kit practically scrapped itself. Seriously, I just LOVE it.

For our challenge this month, we went with an “Anything Goes" theme.

The Pep Rally, for those of you who are new to the Clique, is our monthly subscriber and design team blog share typically held the third week of the month and participants earn product credits-yes, free stuff to do what you love-who can beat that? It's out with the old, in with the new time at Clique Kits when we (hopefully) have all killed our kit from the previous month and have lots to show off, and we start to chat and hype the excitement for the coming month’s kit. In other words, we party! We don’t leave out our guests-there is always a prize for a hopper who comments on each post and likes and shares on social media! Just leave a new comment for each like and share for a separate entry in the random drawing for this month’s prize. One lucky person will win this month’s Capture kit that is sold out! Get the word out and have your friends join our Pep Rally because they might end up with this gorgeous kit at their doorsteps!

*Design Team Members on Kit Duty
Feel free to hop in any order, if you get lost, you can always come back here to find your place. This month, I decided to play with the exclusive cut file and cards. I wanted to scrap Edward eating his yogurt at Sweet Frogs. The red cut file goes great with the Green from the photos with the pop of blue. As soon as I saw the "You're Weird, I Like That" card, I knew what I was gonna use it for. Edward likes the weirdest stuff. He had cotton candy and chocolate yogurt with lots of candy and marsh mellows on this particular day. Seems gross to me, but whatever floats your boat...

Now, hop along and see what our design team and subscribers have been working on. Don’t forget to check out the gallery on the website landing page featuring our Varsity Team (design team) projects using the October kit and check out the Monthly Kit page for all the details about next month’s amazing Clique Kit Tapestry. Take care!
