Winter Wonderland

Merry Christmas Eve friends and family! Is everyone all ready for Santa? My seven year old whispered in my face this morning (while I was still asleep) at 8am. asking if today was Christmas. It was really, really cute... I said, no so then he left.

A few minutes later, he comes back into my bedroom and this time, he can't contain himself... he is so excited, he can barely whisper... LOL. And he says to me, the elf left me a present on my chair!! I had to use to crackers to move him from my chair LOL!! He knows that if he touches the elf, the elf will lose it's magic. I love how excited he is this year. Can't wait until tomorrow!!! It's going to be magical!

Today, it's been quiet in my house. Edward's been on his computer playing Terraria and I've been scrapping! I was in the mood to scrapbook Edward's snow pictures from a few weeks ago. Since I had some papers and stickers left from Creative Memories' Glacier collection, that is what I used! This collection is so pretty... I just love it. If you want to order it and need an advisor, look up Lisa Greger so you can order yours today!!

I used a few foam squares and an enamel dot to make the sticker snow flakes pop off the page. And I love the blue and white striped border sticker. I cut it down a bit to use as a fun border for my strip of photos.

I added a few more stickers at the bottom of the layout to make this layout more wintery! I placed two trees at the bottom of the base then used a few foam squares to make the light blue tree pop off the page. And because I couldn't help myself, I added the cute little bird wearing snow boots. :)

I cut the "Wonderland" sentiment from one of the Mat Packs and cut a "v" at each end to create a banner to place below the "Winter" mat. Then I added another snowflake to keep the top half of the layout from looking too flat.

Once everything was placed down, I grabbed a black fine-tip pen and ruler and hand-journaled my story. Love how clean and pretty this layout looks with the black and white photos!

Thanks for visiting today!

Happy New Year Nicole! My New Year decision is to mostly make 8 1/2 X 11 pages-for which you are my inspiration!
