Adventure

Hello everybody. Today, I am sharing another layout using the gorgeous "Blooming Hearts" collection. I just love this. For this layout, I drew my inspiration from the photo. I love the angle of the photo so I decided to use the fun triangle journaling card. And I used the black and white striped card from the tire rim. I decided not to use any flowers on this layout, however, I did add a touch of pink!

I wanted to keep this layout pretty simple so the focus remains on the photos and journaling. This layout was super quick to make. I simply added a few journaling cards for the background, adhered my collage of photos that I created using PicMonkey and added a few embellishments here and there.

Right Now

Hi everyone. I am so excited to share my first layout using the fabulous Jellybean Clique Kit. The colors in this month's kit is so vibrant and pretty; I love it. Before I started embellishing this layout, I sprayed yellow and blue spray mists by Shimmerz Paints on to white cardstock. I used a paper towel to dab the excess ink off the paper so it wouldn't bulk up. Then I used a honeycomb stencil and ink to create a fun border across the middle of the layout in pink and orange. I used yellow and blue paint to alter the wood veneer. I wanted this layout to be as colorful as possible.

I purchased the Add-On paints and puffy stickers from the April Shop. I am so glad I bought them because I am loving how smooth the Shimmerz Paints are and the puffy stickers are absolutely beautiful... you have to see them in person. They also feel like they are made from nice quality material. I paired up a heart die cut with a heart puffy sticker to make the heart more interesting. I love adding layers to embellishments.

And here is my layout. Our design team Maryam Perez created the journaling cards that I used on this layout. I love them all.

Thanks for visiting today. I hope I was able to inspire you to use mist and some acrylic paints on your next projects! It's so much fun and once you get started, it's not as scary as you might have thought. :)

Hooray

Happy Monday friends! I have a fun layout to share with you today, using Heather's Summer Vibes collection. I must say, I am officially out of this collection. I've used most of my stash so I'll need to buy some more because this is one of my favorite collections by Pretty Little Studio.

For this layout, I decided to use journaling cards for my background. I used Just Nick Studio's Doodle Daisy Background digital cut file for the bottom of the layout. I love using sketch pens on my layout. It's so easy to do and totally fun!

I used the cut-apart tags for my journaling. And to help pull the layout together, I used the flower die cut with a few buttons from Jillibean Soup. Since the buttons were initially a brown color, I used chalk ink to change the color!

I added the yellow Rub-on from my stash to the journaling card to make it pop. LOVE how it looks. You can hardly tell it's a rub-on.

Love You Everyday

Happy Friday friends! Today, I am sharing a layout using Pretty Little Studio's new "Blooming Hearts" collection by Zinia Amoiridou. When I first saw this collection, I was immediately drawn to the teal and yellow. These colors together, make me happy! And the collection, well, it makes me happy and excited to be scrapbooking beautiful projects with it.

For this layout, I decided to scrapbook my guys. I cut the "love you everyday" sentiment from one of the journaling cards and adhered it to the photo using a few foam squares. I matted the back of the photo using a few more journaling cards. I really love the vintage floral sticker and card! BEAUTIFUL design.

Happy Birthday!!

Hello everyone! I just love the fun stickers from the March add-ons. I am so glad I bought them. They really help stretched this month's kit. I felt this month's kit was perfect for scrapbooking a photo from Edward's birthday party since it included banners, flags and the word "happy" in the embellishments and add-ons. He was so happy his daddy could take a little big of time off from work to be at the party. His face is priceless in this photo. I just love it.

Before I started putting this layout together, I already had an idea as to what I wanted to do. I wanted to use the washi tape strips at the bottom of the layout for a fun design. I used scraps of patterned paper to create a fun frame for the photo. Once the photo was adhered to the layout, I added the stickers. I used a fine-tip pen to hand-write birthday to the flag sticker. Initially, the sticker banner did not include the "congratulations", I had cut the congratulations from a sticker to add to the banner.

Since I ran out of washi strips, I added the "ADVENTURE" banner sticker at the end to fill in the space so there wouldn't be a gap in space. I used foam squares to pop the stickers up from the layout a bit.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Tough

Hi scrappy friends. Today, I decided to play with the Woodland collection. This is one of my favorite collections. I love the colors in this collection and the embellishments. I decided to include a lot of journaling on my layout. Normally, I like to write my journaling, but there was just too much that I wanted to write, so I typed my journaling on the computer and printed it out on white cardstock paper. Some might read my jounaling and think it's a bit personal, but it's very REAL and I want to encourage scrappers to scrapbook the good and the bad...

I used a good amount of stamping on this layout. I decided to use stamps for my title and sub-title on this layout. I really love how the stamp work pulls this layout together.

Thank you for visiting today! The next time you are in need for embellishments for your title, consider using stamps!
