Happy Memories

Happy Sunday everybody! I finally found some time for myself today... to do what I love. I scrapbooked a few projects for Pretty Little Studio then I broke into my new box of goodies that I purchased from 7Dots Studio! I've been eyeing up their product for awhile now and finally went ahead and ordered lots of paper, stickers, chipboard and stencils! I just love the grunge look of their papers!! Seriously, they are much more beautiful in person.

I played with their Hazy Days papers and stickers. Oh, and let's not forget the stencils. The quality of the stencil is nice! I was pleasantly surprised. I will be buying more from this company, regardless of the shipping time from Poland. The wait was so worth it!

I added a 1/4" border around the layout using a fine-tip black pen. Then I used some teal Prima Ink and the circle stencil to add some more color to the background. I knew that I wanted to use some of the stickers that looked teal so I wanted to bring that out a bit with the yellow and red.

I used some of the stickers from the Hazy Days collection to create a fun border for the left-side of my photo. I layered the 3x3 photo with a few pieces of patterned paper then adhered it to the side of the border strip.

I used foam squares to layer the star die cuts together to add dimension to the layout. Then I stamped on the label "Happy Memories" and adhered it next to the star to pull the photo frame together. To complete the layout, I hand-journaled my story at the bottom of the layout.

Thanks for visiting today!
