March 3, 2018

Hi everyone! I am totally inspired by 7 Dots Studio's mood board for March. Seriously, the orange and blue looks sooooo pretty. I used bits and pieces from a variety of collections for this layout.

Before I started embellishing the layout, I used some blue and white paint with a touch of orange to create the background. I splattered some white paint onto the layout to help break up the blue. Then I used a white gel pen to draw the border around the layout to frame the page.

I used a tag, chipboard and a few stickers to frame the photo. Using PicMonkey, I created a collage so I could make the photo small enough to fit in the frame. I cut the "Take the plunge" sticker into a banner to use as the title.

I colored the circle sticker using orange mist then used a white gel pen to create a faux stitching effect.

I punched two tiny stars on a scrap piece of paper then used the recycled piece as a template to draw stars in the background!

Products Used: Patterned Paper: Stickers: Tags: Chipboard: 7 Dots Studio, Blue and white Paint: Shimmerz Paints, Orange mist: Prima Marketing, Navy Nuvo Drops: Tonic Studio, Star punch: Tim Holtz, Blue Marker: Altenew, White gel pen: Signo, Other: Blue Sharpie
