Hi everyone. I'm back today with another fun layout in which I created a fun floral background using molding paste, a stencil and decoArt paint. I bought this stencil awhile ago, but haven't had the chance to use it so I figured since I was in the mood to get messy this past weekend, I'd have fun and play a bit. I used Paper House's One Big Happy Family papers and stickers to create this layout.

I love the floral patterned paper so much that I decided to fussy cut the flowers to use on my layout, rather than use the entire sheet.

I used scissors to cut the "family is everything" from the cut apart sheet then adhered it to the layout using a few foam squares. Then I topped it off with a tiny heart sticker.

I layered a few stickers at the bottom of the photos using a few more foam squares here and there. Isn't it lovely? Totally love this collection. As soon as I saw it on their website, I bought it.

I decided not to hand-journal on this layout since I used a few of the sticker sentiments to help tell my story. The "family" sticker says it all. These are my people! It's just missing my mom (she took the photo).

I just love the layers on this layout.

Here is a closer look at the stencil. For the background, I added a few drops of green paint and mixed it with molding paste to add color. It turned out fabulous. When I was applying the molding paint, I was careful to apply the molding paste in one direction to avoid smearing the paste. Overall, It turned out pretty good. Just don't look at the bottom too closely. :)
