SMILE/BRUTUS MONROE

Good morning! I had so much fun creating this layout. The Fun in the Sun metal dies from Brutus Monroe is so cute!

I cut the dies from white cardstock and then colored them in using alcohol markers.

I applied a generous amount of Candy Coat onto white cardstock and let it dry over night. SUPER pretty and shimmery...then I punched out the die from the swatch to use for the title.

Here is a closer image of the title. Lots of glitter that doesn't flake off once completely dry!

Isn't this the cutest layout. I especially like how I was able to include all of the photos!

TRIO OF CARDS/STUDIO FORTY

Good morning! Nicole here with three cards I created using a variety of card sketches. I always struggle making cards, especially A2 size cards.

These sketches really helped me create these cards within minutes and it was fun! Sketches are a great jump start to get your ideas going! Also, keep in mind, you can flip them or use some of the sketch to inspire you!

I think the hardest part of creating these cards was deciding on what patterns to use for the card. I used two patterned papers for each card from the Here and There Collection. I used two metal die frames to cut the papers. To create the card base, cut white cardstock to measure 4.25"x11" and score the paper in half to create the card. The first layer is 4"x5.25" and the second layer is 3.75"x5".

Once the card bases were cut, I paired two cards together that I thought worked well together. Next, I used a variety of Die Cuts to embellish the card. LOVE DIE CUTS. :)

I stamped "so excited" from the All Time Fave stamp set below the summer journey sentiment using a very light pink ink.

For the Adventure card I used a variety of adventurous dies to embellish the card. I used foam squares to pop the cards up a bit.

I super pleased with all three of my cards. Which one is your favorite? I think my favorite is the Summer Journey card. Thank you so much for visiting today!

I'VE GOT MY SQUAD/THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP

Good morning friends! I have a pretty scrapbook layout to share with you today using the TCW2301 Harlequin Slimline Stencil and ColorSparx.

To begin, I mixed Colorsparx with some water and then splashed the watercolor ink all over watercolor paper. I used the paint brush to smear the blotches a bit.

Next, I blended a few inks through the TCW2301 Harlequin Slimline Stencil. I just love how pretty this background looks. What do you think?

After I was finished stenciling the background, I grabbed my photo and embellishments to complete the layout.

Here is the completed layout. Super cute!

HELLO SUMMER MIXED MEDIA TAG/BRUTUS MONROE

Good morning friends. Nicole here with a mixed media tag I created for summer. I'm not gonna lie...when I saw the giraffe stamp, I was so excited. I love giraffes!

First, I placed the Jumbo Tag inside the Misti and taped down the edges to prevent the tag from moving. I don't know why I didn't just use my sticky mat! Duh, sometimes I make things harder than they need to be.

After that, I tapped the back of the tag to remove the excess embossing powder and then I applied heat to the tag until the powder had a nice glossy appearance.

I used Karin watercolor markers to color in the images. I love these markers because they are so vibrant! I used a heart stencil to create the hearts in the background using a blending brush and added a few die cuts for fun.

And here it is. Super cute! I just love it.

FABULOUS

Happy National Scrapbooking Day, friends! Studio Forty is hosting a fun sketch challenge in their group. Click here to participate!

Here is the sketch! You can flip in, turn it... use it to inspire you!

To begin, I sprayed a few different spray inks in the background from Art Anthology. Next, I splashed some hot pink watercolor ink all over. Once the ink was completely dry, I used the Gentle Leaves stencil and ink to add some greenery to the background.

I used a variety of embellishments from Studio Forty's shop to embellish this layout. This layout was a great way for me to use up embellishments that have been sitting in my stash.

I used a black pen and ruler to create the scribbles. And of course I had to include a few sticker dots...my favorite...love the colors and quality of these dots!

I included a little piece of journaling on the tag along with more scribbles.

Isn't my baby niece, precious. :) Thank you for visiting today!

BEACH VIBES/BRUTUS MONROE

Good morning friends! I'm so excited to share these summer layouts with you. I love scrapbooking summer memories. It's my favorite...and jus wait until you see how I used the Fun in the Sun Cutting Die and the Beach Bum stamps. Super cute products!

First, I cut the metal die elements from white cardstock. Then, I colored the sun and grab using alcohol markers.

Then, I stamped my images down and colored them in using markers. glued the sun die onto the layout. Next, I glued down the sun.

I added a coat of the Scarlet Glitter Glaze to the crabbie. After that, I added some Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze to the umbrella.

Here is how it looks up close. SO PRETTY!

I used some dark blue sequins for the eyeballs since I didn't have any black...but you can hardly tell they are blue.

Seriously, isn't this the cutest spread? I just love it so much. That crabbie totally makes this spread pop! Wouldn't you agree?

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS/TCW

Good morning friends! Nicole here with a fun piece I created for my craft space. April showers bring May flowers! How about a little floral project to brighten your day.

First, I colored the wooden sun pieces with Gamboge stencil butter using my fingers. I love finger painting! :)

Then, I grabbed the TCW2300 Gentle Leaves Slimline Stencil and the Turquoise Stencil Butter to create the leaves. I let the stencil butter dry before repeating the process all over the stencil to prevent smearing.

Next, I created the flowers using the TCW2320 Meadow Slimline Stencil and FuchsiaOrchid, and Ocean stencil butters. I used a light tack tape to cover the flowers after they dried before moving to the next color to prevent smearing. It's time consuming, but so worth it...

Finally, after all of the colors have been applied, I removed the stencil very carefully so that nothing smeared and OMG...I love this piece so much.

I added the gems to the flowers and then the banner sentiment. Isn't this lovely? Thank you so much for visiting today.
