MERRY CHRISTMAS/PINKFRESH STUDIOS

Merry Christmas friends and family! We are having a nice, and peaceful Christmas! Edward woke us up at 8am... ready to open his presents. Pete and I wasn't expecting him to wake up. Any other Sunday, he sleeps until 1. LOL I was just happy he cooperated for a family photo so I could participate in Pinkfresh Studio's challenge for the month.

While I was looking through my stash, searching for product that would work for a Christmas layout...I discovered some pieces that totally works in the Simply the Best collection. I really like how this came together. Initially, I wasn't going to add the Merry Christmas along the side...but I decided to do it and I'm happy I did!

I cut the tags from the cut apart tag sheet to use for the bottom of the layout. Then, I used my hole punches to punch out a few elements from patterned paper.

I added a few puffy stickers, enamels and chipboard stickers here and there to complete the layout.

I have some stamps from Pinkfresh Studio and I was going to add some presents...but I am just now realizing...I need a 12x12 Misti. :) I need to get it A.S.A.P.

You still have a few days to get those entries in for the month! Click here to see the challenge. It felt great scrapping today! Thank you for visiting today.

LOVE MY PET/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, friends! If you're looking for a cute puppy dog collection, Simple Stories has a really cute collection and I just received it this week. I had so much fun playing with the Pet Shoppe Dog Collection. It's super cute!! Lots of adorable patterns and embellishments to scrapbook your fur-babies.

I especially love the dog bone stencil! I used the stencil and gray ink to add the stenciled background before embellishing the layout. Super fun!

I had such a hard time deciding on which embellishments to use...they are all so pretty...but be aware... there will be lots of dog projects soon. I'm going to use the heck out of this collection. LOL

I wasn't sure how I liked the big title across the top...but I'm liking it. I used foam squares to mount it to the layout for added dimension.

I layered a few die cuts together, tucking them slightly behind the photo to create a nice frame for the photo.

Seriously, isn't this the cutest collection. I especially like the foam stickers! I used the heart foam sticker to add dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by my happy place today! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday! I'm about to go the grocery store. Take care.

HOORAY/THE CRAFTER'S WORKSHOP

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with a fun layout I created using the TCW973 Knitted Stitching stencil. A few months ago, my friend send me a box of candy from the 70’s for my birthday and it totally made my day…and naturally, I took some pictures of the candy. 🙂

Disclaimer: “The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.”

The background was super simple to make. I thought the TCW973 Knitted Stitching stencil would make a fun background and I have to admit, I’m liking it! I used a palette knife to pull the Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste through the stencil. I really like using this medium because it dries super quick and I love the texture it adds to my projects! After I dried the paste with my heat gun, I used ink and a blending brush to add color.

What do you think? Pretty, right!? Here are some close up photos of the layout itself.

COZY/PINKFRESH STUDIO

Hello friends and family! I'm popping on to share this adorable layout I created using lots of pretty papers, embellishments and stamp from Pinkfresh Studio. I just love how fresh their product is...and they create innovative product! I am never disappointed by their releases!

I played with their stamps and layered stencils to create the flower to go across the center of the layout. I wanted to use yellow since it's a "happy" color! And I think it looks ok with the other colors. It really pops off the page, doesn't it?

I used inks from The Stamp Market to color in the flowers and leaves. Doesn't the coloring look beautiful!

And the metal die worked perfectly to cut the image out. No fussy cutting needed! LOVE THAT!

I  really like the acorns so I was determined to add them on the layout and I think it totally works...

I used foam squares to pop up some of the sentiment dies and acorns to add dimension. At the last minute, I decided to tuck the brown leaves around the sentiments to fill in some of the space and I really like how it looks. I actually cut the die in half to stretch it... it was a wreath.

Isn't this the cutest layout you ever saw. I can't wait to give this precious layout to my sister! I may frame it and give it to her for Christmas... a layout with her babies together.

Thanks so much for visiting today. I hope you're having a wonderful week!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS/STUDIO FORTY

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with another holiday layout I created using the Together Collection from Studio Forty. I dug through my older photos, looking for the perfect photo that would go with this beautiful collection.

Every year, my family hosts a family Christmas party. It's a lot of work, but different members in the family alternate hosting throughout the year. It's a great time to catch up with the family and see everyone!

I love the die cuts in this collection and the journaling cards...as you can see, I added lots of layers and did a good amount of fussy cutting with the elements from the die cuts and journaling cards.

I fussy cut the black and white tag from a journaling card and stamped "moments" on there in a light gray ink. I used a few foam squares to layer the embellishments to add dimension. That way, the layout wouldn't look too flat.

Isn't this beautiful? I think it turned out very festive. What do you think? Thank you so much for visiting today!
