SO HAPPY TOGETHER/A CHERRY ON TOP

Hello, friends! I'm sharing a beautiful monochromatic layout I created using the Flower Emporium collection by 49 & Market. I absolutely love this collection and I especially love how versatile it is!
To begin, I selected the blue and white polka dot page from the Album to use as the base for the layout. Next, I cut a few tags and journaling cards from the cut-apart sheet to layer them up in the background. I fussy cut the butterfly from a journaling card to use as an embellishment since I did not have any blue butterflies.
I added blue and white cord through the tags and glued the "so happy together" chipboard at the top of the photo to fill in some of the white space.
To complete the layout, I mounted down the laser cut floral die with foam strips to add dimension. After that, I glued down the gems, laser cut tag and butterfly.

I absolutely love how pretty this looks with the different shades of blues. Click here, to see the full process video! Thank you so much for visiting!

SPLASH THE DAY AWAY/PRETTY LITTLE STUDIO

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with a travel notebook spread I created using bits and pieces of the Sunkissed and You are My Sunshine collection. I'm squeezing in my last summer project of the year!
I managed to use up a few scraps leftover from this collection! I think this is the last of it! It's time for me to move on to another collection. Do you ever find yourself using the same collection over and over again? There's nothing wrong with that...do what you love!

I fussy cut the blueberries from a scrap piece of patterned paper to fill in the white space at the bottom of the layout. Next, I cut a little rectangle from a scrap piece of patterned paper, stapled it at the top of the matted photo and added the "this is the life" sticker. These are great ways to stretch your supplies on hand.

I glued the star at the top and cut the excess off at the top of the page. Next, I added another star using foam squares with the word flags.

The large die cut phrases never gets old. I love them so much! I added the part of the star that I cut at the top to the bottom of the layout to fill in the white space and used a label to include a little bit of journaling.

I hope you found these pages inspiring! I'm looking forward to documenting some fall memories with you next month! Thanks so much for visiting today.

EVERY SUMMER HAS A STORY/PRETTY LITTLE STUDIO

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with two travel notebook spreads I created using the You are My Sunshine collection. This collection makes me happy and the bright, beautiful colors catch my eyes every time I see it in my stash.
I had fun playing with all the die cuts-layering them up...or you may think "piling it on." I just can't help myself. I love playing with all the pretty embellishments. If you look closely, you'll see all the beautiful touches between the two layouts.
I fussy cut the daisies from patterned paper and glued it along the edge of the photo. Isn't it pretty? I added an enamel dot to the top flower to add dimension.

The word phrases are my favorite...they are great for filling in white space. I used foam strips to pop the phrase up to add dimension.

LOVING the little snail. Isn't he adorable?
I added the heart die cut at the top of the photo and layered it with a few butterflies, a word banner, and a few oranges enamel dots.
I stapled the butterfly to the "o" of story and added the little bee using foam strips. Next, I made the tag using scraps of patterned paper and a metal die and tucked it slightly beneath the title. I think the orange string as a nice pop of color.

What do you think? Are these layouts delightful? I finally filled this album up for my mom and she will be receiving it very soon! She loves it when I surprise her with little albums. Thank you so much for visiting today!

Book Fair/MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK

Hello, friends! I have some exciting news to share. This month I am guest designing for My Creative Scrapbook. The main kit includes lots of fabulous products from Simple Stories' Book Fair collection. If you've been on the fence, why not grab a kit today...you will receive just the right amount of products to document your back to school memories or your love for reading! Be sure to mention my name before checking out to receive a free gift! Click here to take a look at the kit.

I painted this chipboard album from Prima Marketing using a variety of paint by Perfect Paints. Next, I used the modeling paste and acrylic paints to create the fun cameras. I love playing with stencils and so this was so much fun for me.
I have a certain way that I set the pages up for this fun mixed media album. On the left-side of the page, I add a fun cluster of embellishments and on the right, there's either a photo or flip page element and occasionally a journaling card.
I kept this album pretty simple with lots of layers and pretty embellishments!
To add dimension to the stickers, I used foam squares to pop them up off the page.
Since I was getting low on die cuts, I fussy cut the stack of books and flowers from the cut-apart sheet. This is such a great way to stretch your products!
This cluster of embellishments makes  me happy. I just love them all stacked up together in this beautiful cluster.
I created a flip page by cutting two 4x6 journaling cards so they were still attached and folded in half. Next, I mounted it to the page and added the picture and embellishments.
Here is the inside of the flip page. That little owl is too cute for words. I plan on writing a few of the books we read together on the card for our book club!
Here is a simple cluster I created using stickers and foam squares. I added a few enamel dots from my stash.
This boy is always by my side...even at night while I'm reading... Isn't Paco the cutest? I cut the sentiments from journaling cards to frame the photo. Next, I added the tag and foam sticker clips.
This is a simple page I created using a few die cuts, and foam stickers. LOVE that little wormy. Seriously, this kit is so fun!
For those of you who do not have a digital cutting machine, this kit comes with a pre-cut image and I just love it!! I heat embossed the image using gold embossing powder. Then, I glued it to the page and added some embellishments to add dimension so the page wouldn't appear too flat.
More layers...and cute owl. This is my favorite spread from this little mini. And I think the blue background really makes the embellishments pop.
I created another flip page element by cutting the journaling cards and folding it in half. Next, I mounted the top portion behind the photo to create the flip.
What do you think? Isn't this super cute. It's been awhile since I created a fun mixed media album and it felt good to make this adorable mini.
Thank you for visiting today and don't forget to check out the kit, here! If you would like to see the full tutorial of how this came together, I'll have the process video up on my YouTube channel tomorrow. Click here to check it out. Hope you have a great weekend!

CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL/A CHERRY ON TOP

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with a fun little tag album I created using scraps from Simple Stories' Woodlands collection. I love this collection and did not want to waste my scraps by throwing them away...so I decided to add a few pictures from Edward's time in Arizona a few years ago and it worked out perfectly. I just love it so much!
To begin, I cut a variety of tags from the tag cut-apart sheet and used them as a template to create more tags from patterned paper by tracing the pattern and cutting them out. I did not have enough tags so I got creative. Next, I punched holes using the (multi-hole punch) at the top and grabbed the metal ring and set it aside.
I used a metal tag die to cut a few photos into a tag. After all the tags were made and printed, I added lots of layers using stickers and die cuts. I used foam strips to pop some of the die cuts up to add dimension. This was such a simple album to make and I enjoy making these little minis!
I used my Cannon Selphie to print the photos to the right size to fit on the tag. Here are a few close ups of the beautiful layers throughout this mini.

LOVING the cover with the big "all creatures great and small" title with the mushroom tag. It's super fun and it just screams "outdoors".
I hope you found this little album delightful. It was a lot of fun using up my scraps to make something so pretty. Be sure to check out my Instagram account to see the reel! I'll be doing a little flip through, which is fun! Thank you so much for visiting today.
