As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings of pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.

I am so honored to be back for another term. I just love Zva Creative's bling. Whenever I feel I am missing something on my projects, I go through my Zva Creative Bling! Notice how I've used bling on a boy layout? This just goes to show how bling fits for just about any themed layout.

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to beinspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, December 31st and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, January 1st.
Hidden on FIVE of the designer's blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Blog Hop post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.

Handmade Christmas cards made easy.

I hate to say it but Christmas is literally right around the corner! I am almost done my Christmas shopping and everything that I've bought so far is wrapped! Go me! So I'm waiting on the last few gifts to arrive by mail... Oh did you think I went out on black Friday to do my shopping? Heck no... not me. Anyways, here's a little project to help you get your cards completed! Forget about spending $1 per card and make your own!

Supplies: Plain White Envelopes by Staples, Photo paper by Staples, Papers and embellishments by Glitz Design, Corrugated alphas: American Crafts, Ribbon: May Arts, Mini stapler: Tim Holtz

Using your trimmer, cut a piece of pattern paper to 4x6 to use as your base.

Staple a piece of ribbon to 3 3/4"X5 3/4"white cardstock and adhere  it to the center of the base. Attach a 3 3/4"x3" photo to the front of the card.
Attach the embellishments as shown.

Once you've created the card, scan the card, crop out the background. Print the cards on photo paper and mail them out! This is a quick and easy solution for your Christmas cards and will only cost you about 10 cents per card after you buy your supplies, rather then spending a great deal of money on boring cards.

I love how my card turned out and I hope I inspired you in some way with this tutorial! If you're looking for more inspiration, be sure to check out the following blogs today!

Playing with Lawn Fawn products

Hello scrappers! When I found out that we would be partnering up with Lawn Fawn for the week, I got a little giddy because it meant that I would be given a chance to play with their fabulous product. Yay! Being a book worm, I decided to play with their “Check this out” stamps and papers. I LOVE these papers and since I couldn’t decide on a few of the patterns from the scrap pack, I decided to use bits and pieces from all of the papers. :-) Also, I used the stamps to create my title and a cute little book at the bottom… I simply stamped an image onto patterned paper and cut it out to create my very own paper embellishment. Come and see what the other designers have done with Lawn Fawn this week over at the May Arts blog!

Cardstock: Creative Memories, Patterned paper: Lawn Fawn, Decorative tape: Lawn Fawn, Ribbon: May Arts, Burlap: May Arts, Baker's Twine: May Arts, Acrylic stamps: Lawn Fawn, Paint: Tattered Angels, Corner rounder: Creative Memories, Star punch: Creative Memories, Heart border punch: Creative Memories, Adhesives: Creative Memories, Glue: Helmar.

Happy holidays!

Hello scrappers. Nicole here with a two new Christmas layouts using the Joyeux Noel collection! I love the patterns and colors in this collection. For my first layout, I decided to scrap my favorite photos from last Christmas. Edward was so excited and I'm so glad I captured his excitement in one of the photos!

And for my second project, I decided to scrap a family picture from my family's annual Wist Christmas party. Every year, the family gets together for Christmas and it's so nice to see everyone that we don't normally get to see during the year.

Fun with paper strips

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share a layout that I created for SFTIO using their December "Release" kit. I loved this kit because it had lots of great things in it and the Crate Paper is to die for! I loved the different strips of pattern on the paper, so I decided to just cut them out and place them on my layout. I added a few stickers as well to add a bit more color to my layout.  I've been wanting to create a lyout using paper strips and the Crate Paper made it easy! The strips were already there in the paper, I just cut them out and adhered them to my layout. And as for the title, I just LOVE it. I hand-painted the title using a paint brush and the gold Ranger ink! I must admit, as I was painting the title on my layout, I had butterflies in my stomach... The layout was completely done... except for the title so I could have easily messed the entire layout up :) But, sometimes, trying something new can be fun!
