Hello everyone. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! Ours was pretty good. Edward has been playing with all of his new toys. We lost a toy just a day after Christmas. We didn't even have the thing open an hour. It was a little remote control air plane. Edward wanted to go outside with it. We should have practiced with the controls inside before we took it outside. That thing went high up in the air, past the trees and I have no idea where it went. $60 bux down the drain and another $60 bux for replacing it because my little boy was crushed.

Anyway, all is good now. On a happier note, I love the January Clique Kit. It's so very pretty and I am having a great time using the yellow papers and awesome tags! I was going to add some stuff at the top of this layout, but I really like the triangles on this paper so I left it alone. I just feel like it's missing something, but I decided to just let this one go.

oh yes.

I love the fact that I can go on Facebook at anytime and find pictures of my family to scrap. I know, stalker, but I just love it! I needed a few pictures to scrap today and I found it right on my sister's feed. HAHA. I decided to use up the rest of my January Clique Kit. I scrapped the hell out of this kit. Seriously. I made five layouts and I still have a lot of embellishments left. I am so glad I picked up some tags in the add-on section because I LOVE them!!

Merry Christmas Edward!

This morning, I woke up at 9:00am. when I heard Edward turn on his Kindle. I really thought he'd be running into my room to wake mommy and daddy up, but he watched his shows. Then around 10am, I heard his door click open so I kept my eyes closed. I heard him run down the hall and he immediately started laughing as he ran into the room to wake me up. He sounded so sweet when he woke me up, "Mommy, Santa came. He brought me more presents than last year! Come see."

He was so excited that he let me snap away with my camera this morning. I didn't take too many pictures because I was just sitting back, enjoying Edward's happiness! So precious. Pete and I are so fortunate that we were able to give him a big Christmas this year. Honestly, this year, we did not spend a great deal of money on him for toys. He pretty much saved his money for the toys he wanted to buy so that is why we made Christmas soooo GOOOD.
He made this little heart out of candy canes all on his own. Clever boy.
Edward opened his gifts in Poppy's chair.
Pete got him is very own little R2. Edward got a big kick out of this gift! He is his daddy's son.
Here's what he got. Six Legos, Sticker books, puzzles, Star Wars sheets and blanky, Star Wars box to hold his Lego, A light up Car, A Maze Game and some other things.
After Edward finished opening his gifts. Pete asked him if he received everything he wanted and Edward said yes because he really did. Throughout all of the excitement this morning, he forgot all about the Ewok Village that he REALLY wanted. So Pete said, "yea, but you didn't get the Ewok Village that you wanted, did you?" And Edward's poor face fell apart as he shook his head no. He was trying to avoid acting ungrateful, but it was hard. So Pete had him go downstairs with him to let Hamlet out... And that's when they discovered that Santa dropped a gift in the chimney... His Ewok Village. :)
Pete said when Edward saw the gift in the chimney, he got excited, yelling, "this might be my Ewok Village!" I'd say that this will be a Christmas that Edward will remember. :)

2015 Christmas Card

Merry Christmas everyone! This year, I got a late start getting my Christmas cards out, but they are out... Better late than never. Right?! I almost took the easy way out and ordered my cards from Shutterfly, but it would have cost me 70-80 bucks for 50 cards! WTH. That's insane. So I decided to use my Pretty Little Studio products to make a card. Then I scanned them and ordered them from Shutterfly. So I went from having to pay 70-80 bux to 10 bux. Plus I spent another 50 on stamps and envelopes.

Here's my original card. I love how this turned out. This was super quick and easy. Love the frames and tabs from Pretty Little Studio's Merry and Bright Collection. So fun.

And here are my cards printed! Next year, I'll need to remember to make it a little bigger because when Shutterfly printed them, they got cut off a little.

Hope you had a fabulous Christmas!

Hello everyone. Here is my last layout using the December Clique Kit. I hope you have enjoyed my creates over the last few weeks. Hopefully, I was able to inspire you in some way. For this layout, I wanted to keep it simple and I wanted to use the adorable clipboards from the patterned papers. I actually cut a few of the clipboards and layered them together to created a larger to clipboard. Also, besides the patterned paper being my favorite part of the kit, I LOVE the gold epoxy stickers. They are so pretty.

Hello everyone. Are you ready for the holidays? I am totally ready. I can't wait to see Edward's face Christmas morning. He was so excited with his gifts last year. This year, Santa is bringing him more Legos than he can even imagine. He's been such a good boy this week and Santa noticed! Here's a layout that I created using last year's Christmas morning photo! This year, I bought him Darth Vader pj's wearing Santa hats for the morning picture! :)

December 20, 2015

Hi everyone. I LOVE Amy Tangerine's "Finder's Keeper's" collection. The patterns and colors are so HAPPY. I just love it. I've had this collection on my desk for a few weeks, waiting for the right photo to show up so I could scrap it with this gorgeous collection.

I had my sister snap this photo of the three of us on Thanksgiving. Initially, Edward was in a Minecrafts sweatshirt and pants, but mom bribed Edward with M&M's if he'd change for the picture. She has been bribing him with M&M's since he was old enough to eat. HAHA. How come bribes work from grandma, but not me?

If you love this collection as much as I do, feel free to visit the Clique Kit's Shop. There are a few left for purchase. Click here. I am a sucker for die cuts and tags so naturally, I used several pieces on this layout. Once I was finished with the layout, I realized that I wanted a blue background, rather than a yellow so I changed it. Also, I wanted a different color thicker so I painted mine! I decided to keep the paint a little light so that it would show a little white for a distressed look.

December Clique Kits Pep Rally

Hi everybody. It’s Nicole here, wishing you a fabulous Wednesday! Welcome to the December Pep Rally. This month, we hope to inspire you with the "Girl Cave" kit. This kit is chocked full of goodies from Pink Paislee, My Mind's Eye, Maya Road, Jillibean Soup, American Crafts, Bella Blvd., Becky Higgins Project Life and Pretty Little Studio! Everything coordinates so perfectly in this kit and there's a little something for everyone. Whether you scrap girls or boys, this kit will work for you! We hope you love it as much as we do.

For our challenge this month, we went with an “Anything Goes" theme.

The Pep Rally, for those of you who are new to the Clique, is our monthly subscriber and design team blog share typically held the third week of the month and participants earn product credits-yes, free stuff to do what you love-who can beat that? It's out with the old, in with the new time at Clique Kits when we (hopefully) have all killed our kit from the previous month and have lots to show off, and we start to chat and hype the excitement for the coming month’s kit. In other words, we party! We don’t leave out our guests-there is always a prize for a hopper who comments on each post and likes and shares on social media! Just leave a new comment for each like and share for a separate entry in the random drawing for this month’s prize. One lucky person will win this month’s Capture kit that is sold out! Get the word out and have your friends join our Pep Rally because they might end up with this gorgeous kit at their doorsteps!

Here’s today’s line up:

Feel free to hop in any order, if you get lost, you can always come back here to find your place. This month, I felt like playing with layers. I also played with one of the cut files and cards. This layout seemed to take me forever to complete. I just kept adding embellishments and felt like it was missing something. Eventually, I decided to just stop and let it be! Ever have one of those layouts?

And here's another quick and easy layout I did.

Now, hop along and see what our design team and subscribers have been working on. Don’t forget to check out the gallery on the website landing page featuring our Varsity Team (design team) projects using the December kit and check out the Monthly Kit page for all the details about next month’s amazing Clique Kit "Alegria". Take care!

What a day!

Hello everyone. We are featuring Pretty Little Studio's word stickers today up on their blog. I love word stickers and I use them often because they are just the right size to fit in the adorable tabs that are available in many different colors in the shop! I think that 90% of my layouts include a few tiny words. I love that the Merry And Bright sticker words are multi-color! It gives scrappers a variety of colors to work with.

December 7, 2015

HAPPY Monday everyone. It's back to reality for this girl. Time to go back to work after a nice few days off from work. It was a much needed break! So, a few days ago, I created this fun layout. Initially, I was not going to include the yellow border, but the layout was scrapped crookedly so I had to do something about it. I simply tilted the white a little bit and added the yellow background. I used mainly the December Clique Kit, but I wanted some washi tape and a few extras so I added Ali Edward's kit as well. I really like this. The yellow and red looks so good. What do you think?

A few close ups. I added a circle stamped image to one of the circles and added a piece of chipboard to the center. The "oh happy days" die was from the November Clique Kit.

I cut the "me" letters from patterned paper and the "wonderful choose happiness" sentiment came with Ali's kit. This can be made easily with some plain kraft papers and stamps for those who are looking to do something similar.
