Happy Thursday everyone. I've had a busy day. I was up at 7:30am this morning. Not sure why I scheduled my annual exam with my doctor for 830am? Maybe, I thought it was a good idea three months ago... I was wrong.
I've already been to the pet store, grocery store and Chipotle. And I managed to get some Clique Kit Design Team stuff done. I even scrapped a layout that I am about to post. Once I post it, I need to get off here and do some laundry! Then I just might spend the rest of the day on the couch. Yes, it's that kind of a day. I am gonna have a lazy day. Edward's been with my mom all week and I miss him so much! I can't wait to see his sweet face tomorrow.
A few weeks ago, I bought Elle's Studio (Sunny Days) collection from the Clique Kit Shop. I finally used it this morning! I really love the die cuts in this collection and the papers! I used the (Tubular) cut file from Just Nick Studio's shop. LOVE this cut file. Heck, I love circles!

Hi scrappers. Hope you're having a great week. Today, I am going to share with you, what I've been working on for a few weeks in spurts. Have you seen the Clique into Summer Limited Edition kit? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this kit and I especially love the exclusives that came with the kit. I think I have a few scraps left. hehe
Before I did anything, I made a few collages using Ipiccy so that I could print photos that would fit into the Instagram sized sleeves. I have so many fun memories from this summer that I want to scrapbook and the easiest way to do this is by using a pocket page format! Something different for me, but fun!
I am still working on this album and will probably still be working on it in September, but I wanted to take a moment to share with you how my album is coming along. I JUST LOVE IT. :) I hope you do too.
And here is the cover of my album! I am totally digging the flamingo. We might still have a few of these left if you're interested. Click here.
Hello everyone. I don't know about you, but I love the "Wheels in motion background" cut file? What do you think? I cut it perfectly without any issues using lightweight cardstock. I love the multiple circles and thought it would be neat to add little embellishments here and there. Such a bright and colorful layout.

Hi everyone. I have another layout to share with you today. I kept this layout pretty simple. I used lots of layering on this layout, but did my best to focus on the photo! I don't know what it is about triangles, but lately, I am addicted to them. The first thing I did was cut a triangle from patterned paper to embellish the top right-side of the layout. Then I cut a few words from the Cut-Apart from Cocoa Vanilla that was part of our August Add-ons. I am so glad I bought these because I've used them on just about every project for August so far.
Hello sunshine! I have a fun layout to share with you today. I decided to play with my Shimmerz Paints and doodling. I decided to use mainly blues and greens with touch of gold for this layout. Colors that complimented the photo so well. I used lots of foam squares to pop up my die cuts from the page. And I love the vellum tape included in the August Clique Kit from Pretty Little Studio. It compliments this kit nicely!
I used a water brush to add the shimmery paints to my background. I didn't worry too much about making sure the scribbled background looked neat. I just went to town. Once the paint was dry, I hand-doodled the heart. I really should have used a pencil first... luckily, it turned out ok, otherwise I would have wasted two perfect papers! Yea, I'm crazy like that. :)
I did use a pencil to trace the journaling lines first before using a pen... Then after I traced the lines with a pen, I erased the pencil marks.

Hi everybody. It’s Nicole here, wishing you a fabulous Wednesday! Welcome to the July Pep Rally. This month, we hope to inspire you with the "Raskog" kit. The papers in this month's kit are my absolute favorites by Pinkfresh Studio. It's perfect for scrapbooking those everyday moments. And the Clique Kits Girls had the pleasure of meeting Kinnari in person at CHA this year! Love this photo.
For our challenge this month, we went with anything goes.
The Pep Rally, for those of you who are new to the Clique, is our monthly subscriber and design team blog share typically held the third week of the month and participants earn product credits-yes, free stuff to do what you love-who can beat that? It's out with the old, in with the new time at Clique Kits when we (hopefully) have all killed our kit from the previous month and have lots to show off, and we start to chat and hype the excitement for the coming month’s kit. In other words, we party! We don’t leave out our guests-there is always a prize for a hopper who comments on each post and likes and shares on social media! Just leave a new comment for each like and share for a separate entry in the random drawing for this month’s prize. One lucky person will win this month’s Raskog kit! Get the word out and have your friends join our Pep Rally because they might end up with this gorgeous kit at their doorsteps!
Feel free to hop in any order, if you get lost, you can always come back here to find your place. This month, I decided to add some hand doodling and lots of layers to my project. Yes, I was lucky enough to meet Kinnari in January at CHA and of course I had to scrap it for the blog hop! Perfect timing, wouldn't you say?
Here are a few close-ups:
Now, hop along and see what our design team and subscribers have been working on. Don’t forget to check out the gallery on the website landing page featuring our Varsity Team (design team) projects using the July kit and check out the Monthly Kit page for all the details about next month’s amazing Clique Kit Rio. Take care!
Hello all! I've been playing with my watercolors from Shimmerz Paints and I am excited to share this fun, summer layout with you all. These watercolors are soooooo pretty and they look even prettier when you use more than one color. After the paint dried, I used a circle stencil and a black pen to trace little circles for my background. I really like how this looks with the circles drawn in black. It really makes the page pop. I punched some circles out of the star print paper and scattered them in the background as well. And notice how I added a few little blue butterflies. I love how this turned out. The photo is so cute too! I snagged it from my sister's Facebook feed while they were at the beach with my son for the week.
Happy Friday ladies! Hope you had a fabulous week. I have a fun, fresh, summer layout to share with you using the July Clique Kit, Raskog! I love the soft color palette in this month's kit. The colors go really nicely with my pool pictures from a few weeks ago. I decided to use Just Nick Studio's "Let it shine background" digital cut file. I love this cut file! And it cut nicely too.

I used some of the exclusive cards, cut-aparts and flair from this month's kit to embellish my layout. The black enamel heart stickers are available in the Clique Kit shop! Click here to see the colors in stock.
Happy Friday friends! A few weeks ago, I decided to snap a few photos of myself in the car. I can assure you that I was not moving when I took these... I was actually stuck in traffic on I-97 on the way to visit a friend. Every now and then, I like to mix it up a little bit. I do not like scrapping the same subjects. I try to take a variety of photos so that I can give our blog readers a variety.
I selected a few papers, die-cuts, stickers and vellum tape from Pretty Little Studio's Woodland collection. These photos go perfectly with these photos. Anyone a big fan of die-cuts like myself? I love using them because they are great for filling in white space on any project. I used several die-cuts on this layout such as the "explore" word, two butterflies layered together with a foam square, a die-cut frame, hearts, and die cut words! What do you think?
