Happy Moments

Hello scrappers. I've been anxiously waiting to share this layout with you.  When I started creating this layout, I had no idea what I was going to do. The one thing I was sure of, is that I wanted to use lots of patterned paper. The papers in this months' kit are so pretty. Wouldn't you agree. It's hard not to use them all. LOL I even cut the branding strips from the papers and used them as a fun border for my layout on the left-side of the layout.

I've had an acrylic frame in my stash for some time now and after watching Finnabair share the new Metallique Paints, I was inspired to use some of the Metallique paints from my stash. I painted the frame using the Deep Waters and Blue-Gold paints. SOOOOO Pretty! I love how vibrant these paints are.

I fussy cut the flowers from the floral paper and added buttons and jewels from my stash to the center of the flowers to add more texture to the flowers. I used foam squares to adhere them to the layout.

Here is a closer look at the branding strips used on this layout.

I fussy cut the butterfly from one of the patterned papers to use as a die cut for the bottom right-side of my layout.

Pinterest Inspiration

Hello scrappers. Isn't this Pinterest Inspiration inspiring?! The windows inspired me to use a cut file from Ashley Horton's shop! I've had The Get Your Grid on cut file for some time now and have been wanting to use it for a fun grid layout! Naturally, I used Ashley's "Ain't Life Grand" collection! I love the colors in this collection and the cameras and shutters, heck I love it all!

I used lots of die cuts and stickers to decorate the insides of the grids. I wanted to keep adding more embellishments and didn't know where to stop. I really like the sequins in this collection! They are so pretty and so different. After I finished decorating the layout, I splashed some black mist on to the layout.

Happy

Hi everyone. Hope you've had a wonderful week. Today, I have a fun layout to share with you using the beautiful Jellybean kit from Clique Kits. I love patterned paper and die cuts. I can't seem to get enough of them these days. I used several scraps of patterned paper for this layout. The stripe paper and heart stickers came from my stash because I needed another piece of patterned paper to help mat my photo.

I played with several stickers and die cuts. I love the fun border I created at the bottom of the layout. Totally fun and super easy to do.

Using those stickers in your stash

Pinterest Inspiration

Hello everybody. I am excited to share this beautiful spring layout I created using several different stickers and cut-aparts from my stash! I found this inspiration on Pinterest and I was immediately inspired to create a layout using white, pink and orange. What a beautiful color combination!

The first thing I did before applying photos and embellishments on this layout was print the Mini Floral Buds digital cut file from Just Nick Studio's shop on white cardstock using my color printer. I wanted to create a floral background for my layout and I did not have the right patterned paper for this.

I added some clear butterflies from the Woodland collection to add more color to the floral buds.

I used a few cut-apart labels, stickers, stickers words to help tell my story.

Happy NSD!

Hello scrappy friends. Happy National Scrapbooking Day. Today, I didn't get a whole lot of scrapping done, however, I did join one of Jillibean Soup's challenges to use a big title on a layout. I used the Cold Avocado Soup collection. I love the blues and yellows in this collection. The photo came up in my FaceBook pop up from six years ago and I love the photo so much that I decided to scrap it today! Wow, time flew by... Edward is now 7 years old. Hard to believe!!

I am hoping to participate in Jillibean Soup's sketch challenge. What a fabulous sketch that Summer created for them! I need to try this sketch out because I am inspired. Check back later, I'll add the layout to this post once completed.

For this layout, I decided to use Jillibean Soup's Hardy Hodgepodge collection. This collection has the prettiest colors!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Beautiful Day

Hi everybody. Today, I am sharing another layout I created using Pretty Little Studio's lovely "Blooming Hearts" collection. I love the pretty colors in this collection. I especially like the patterns on the journaling cards and the cut-aparts!

I used the die cut frames to help frame my photo then added some flowers in the corners. The banner is a cut-apart!

I added the "You are awesome and xoxo" die cuts in the circles to help them blend in with the patterns. I used a foam square to make the yellow sentiment pop.
