HOW TO CREATE A FLIPBOOK/A CHERRY ON TOP

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with a few pages I added to my flipbook using Simple Stories' Front Porch collection. I've been working on this little gem for a week and I can't wait to see the look on my grandmother's face when she sees it. I poured my heart into this album for her, and I just love it so much!
Throughout the album, you will notice a format... the left-side includes clustered embellishments and the right-side includes the photo. I LOVE how this looks...
I clustered the chipboard embellishments together and used rub-ons directly to the house to make it pretty.
I used rub-ons to create a big title across the bottom of the photo without causing any distractions to the eyes... Then, I clustered a few die cuts and stickers at the top to pull the layout together.
I cut the 4x6 journaling card from the cut-apart sheet and then used foam stickers to pop up the embellishments to add dimension. Isn't this lovely?!
For this page, I cut part of the floral die cut down so that it would fit nicely at the bottom of the photo. Next, I added the decorative brad and butterfly along with the banner across the top right-side of the page.
I LOVE this doilies patterned paper. It's so pretty!! I decided to use this for a page, adding the decorative brads to the center of the doilies along with some rub-on elements.
I Kept this page simple...and just added the banner with a few brads. Sometimes, a little gos a long way!
I cut 2 3x4 journaling cards so that they were connected to use as a page. Next, I cut the tag from the cut-apart sheet, punched a hole at the top and added string. The hearts at the bottom of the tag are from the rub-ons. Rub-ons are perfect for making the tags fit your style and preference. I cut two more journaling tags for the right-side of the spread and layered two butterfly stickers together using foam squares to add dimension. As you can see, mini albums are fairly simple to make...all you need is the right design/format and follow that system throughout the album.
My grandmother loves birds...especially hummingbirds so naturally, I clustered a variety of embellishments to this page so I could include the hummingbird in a beautiful way.
To the right, I decided to mat a photo of my grandmother using the chipboard frame. I added a chipboard tag to the left, and some die cuts here and there with the decorative brads to make it more pretty.
I used a few more rub-ons for the back of the album to make it tie in with the album. If you would like to see the front of the album and more pages of this beautiful gem, be sure to check out Simple Stories' Instagram account around February 11th. I have about 10 more pages in this album! It's absolutely beautiful and I do hope you will check it out.

Thank you so much for visiting today and I hope you found this flipboook inspiring! Click here to see the full collection! It's so pretty and it's perfect for documenting those family memories.
