15

Happy Saturday friends and family. It's hard to believe... but Pete and I just celebrated our 16 year Anniversary yesterday! We've been together for 20 years, come October. That's a long time... Honestly, I didn't think we were gonna make it... but we talked a lot... and decided that we BOTH needed to work together if we were gonna make it work. And whatever we are doing... it's working.

So... I wanted to create a layout to celebrate! I don't think I've ever created a layout celebrating our Anniversary. For this layout, I used Trinity Stamp's Marshmallow Alphabet Die and the So Appreciative Stamp Set to create a fun background for my layout. The die sheet was the leftovers from a previous layout. Rather than throw it out, I decided it would make a fun background for a layout. I am glad I held onto it!

I used papers, washi tape and die cuts from Jillibean Soup's Spoonful of Soul Collection to embellish the layout. The number stickers and labels are from Citrus Twist.

I used black ink and a blending buddy to color the manila tag. Then I added the lace trim.

I used washi tape to create a fun border around the layout. I love how this looks... Seriously, it looks fun and playful. And it was super simple!

I added some puffy hearts at the top of the photo because it looked like something was missing. They are from Citrus Twist!

What do you think? It's different...but in a good way. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
