VERY MERRY SNAP ALBUM/SIMPLE STORIES

Happy holidays, friends! I'm so excited to share my Very Merry SNAP album with you. I've been waiting for the right collection to get my holiday photos from our vacation at Disney...on Christmas Day. The Santa's Village collection works perfectly with my photos. I'm so happy I paid extra for the pictures... And I just love how this album came together. It makes me super happy, flipping through it, and I hope it inspires you to document your holiday photos.

I decorated the cover with the present patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad. For the book plate, I added a tiny piece of patterned paper and some decorative brads and foam stickers. I just love filling the bookplate with embellishments... I try to use embellishments that will allow me to know what time of album it is when they are stored on my shelf. Don't forget to decorate the inside of the album, too. That Santa paper is super fun!! I kept the back of the cover simple with just paper and the foam sticker.

I added the "hohoho" foam stickers to the inside of the spine, being careful to line it up in the center to prevent tagging. Next, I cut the tags and 3x4 journaling cards from the cut apart sheets and added decorative brads and ribbon to them to make them pop.

Love the red and white striped insert page that comes with the SNAP album. The flower print paper looks really pretty centered, with the foam stickers.

These chipboard inserts are perfect for mixed media, rub-ons, and stamping! I did both for each page to mix it up. That little gnome is from my stash...I just wanted to play around with him.

I cut the cut-apart labels so they would make a fun flip page for this pocket page spread. Next, I cut the 4x6 journaling tag and placed it in the sleeve. After that, I used foam stickers to mount the chipboard frame right on the plastic sleeve. I love a good chunky album and these chipboard frames help make that happen.

I added the holly rub-on on the photo to cover some of the lights in the background. Next, I added a variety of die cuts to the journaling tag with decorative brads and string to make it more colorful, and fun.

This 6x8 layout was fun to make. I added three different patterned papers at different angles and trimmed the excess. Next, I matted the photos and tucked two cut-apart tags at the top. I used foam squares to pop up the "Merry" sentiment. I tucked the tree die cut behind the Santa and addd the stickers and tab. I added the decorative brad to Santa's hat to make it fun.

This chipboard page is super cute. I simply matted the chipboard with patterned paper, punched two holes at the top using a page insert to help line up the holes. I added the photo, die cuts, enamel dots, decorative brad, and foam stickers to make it pop. Super simple and oh...so much fun!

I can't tell you how much I love this picture... It's on my shelf all year long in a frame... and because it's my favorite, I went to town on this layout... Isn't this adorable with all the embellishments...it's super festive and I absolutely love it. I hope you are inspired to apply some of these techniques in your next SNAP album! Check out this adorable collection, here. Thank you so much for visiting today.
