I went a little overboard with the cover. Initially, I only had a few stickers and chipboard pieces, but after I finished my pages, I wanted to add as many leftover chipboard and foam stickers possible. I wanted to use all the fun things in this collection!
This pocket page comes with the album as well as a variety of other fun page inserts! Be sure to check out this full collection, here. It's available at A Cherry On Top. Unfortunately, this album is unavailable at A Cherry On Top and Scrapbook.com...but you can still use the regular SNAP album in Red. Also, pocket pages are easy to make. Simply cut a piece of patterned paper to measure 12x8 and fold the bottom about 4 inches to create the pocket. Use a whole punch to create the tab and use a strong double sided sticky red tape, to mount the paper together to create hold the pocket. Use a hole punch to punch holes using another page to line up the holes. It's really that simple to make.
I decorate the back of the cover using the Santa paper and added the chipboard sticker and "hey there, Santa" sticker. It's so cute...LOVE the vintage feel of this collection.
I cut the ornament paper to measure 7x5 and mounted it to the green 8x6 paper. I backed the chipboard frame with a photo and piece of the puzzle patterned paper. Next, I added a few cut-apart tags to the back before mounting the chipboard down. Once the frame was matted, I added the die cuts, decorative brads, foams stickers, and chipboard. Isn't this adorable!!
I aded the foam stickers and a few die cuts to make this page pop. I absolutely love the little deer, and how pretty this turned out with the cluster of die cuts.
I used a variety of rub-ons to decorate this Bingo card. It makes a fun insert for the album, don't you think?
I glued the chipboard frame down on the paper and decorated it with die cuts, stickers, and chipboard.
I used lots of die cuts to create fun layers along the right-side of the layout. Isn't this just perfect?!
I applied the same format...logs o f layers down the layout. I just love playing with embellishments!
Do you spy a boo-boo....that's what happens when you scrap with stuff all over the desk...lol. I was able to to remove it after I took all the photos without damaging the card. :)
My last spread is a simple pocket page. I cut three of the 3x4 journaling cards so they were still attached and folded the left side to create a little flip page. Next, I added the photo to the right, a few decorative brads and die cuts. The Santa is a die cut that I purposely placed sightly off the page. I forgot to take a picture, but when you flip this open, there are more cluster of die cuts behind the folded pocket page.
I hope you find joy in this little album. I plan on added a few pictures in the pocket page from this year's holiday festivities. That is why there aren't many pictures in this album... Thanks so much for visiting today!
Nic
