Happy holidays! Tis the season and I have been making holiday albums using pictures from past years, which is always fun because I get to look back on those precious memories. For this album, I used the SV Believe collection from Simple Stories. They always have the best holiday collections!! I especially love the vintage collections.
I covered the album with the 8x6 patterned paper. Next, I added the foam stickers, die cuts, and ribbon. Isn't this cover beautiful?I folded the striped patterned paper that comes inside the album in half to create a fun bookmark. Next, I added rub-ons, and die cuts to make it pretty. After that, I added a few foam stickers to the notebook paper to create a fun journaling page.
I cut two tags down and glued them to the top and bottom of this bookmark and added the stickers, rub-ons, and decorative brads.I added a piece of patterned paper to the paper that comes inside the album to add some color. Next, I backed the chipboard frame with a photo and mounted it down on the layout. After that, I added the foam stickers, tag, decorative brads and die cuts. I used foam strips to pop some of the embellishments up to add dimension.
I folded the cut apart journaling card paper in half from the 6x8 paper pad and adhered the sides together to create a pocket. Next, I mounted the pocket onto the notebook paper. After that, I cut a few tags from the cut-apart sheet, added ribbon and tucked them into the pocket.
I used an embossing folder to create a fun insert page. Next, I created the wreath using metal dies!
Love the 3x4 journaling cards in this collection. They are so festive and fun. I added a touch of embellishments to make them pop.I added another ornament to the journaling card using a rub-on. Next, I added a decorative brad to the snowman's button in the center and then I matted the photos and placed it in the sleeve. Super simple!
I just love how this came together. It's so pretty...the trees and ornaments in this collection make me happy. I'm so ready for the holidays!Thank you so much for visiting today and I hope you found this post inspiring! Check out my process video below to get started on your holiday album!
