Hello, friends! Today, I'm sharing two travel notebook spreads I created using the
Ginger Snap collection. This is such a pretty fall collection. The embellishments are so beautiful...and they are perfect for my project. I walk my dogs everyday and during our walks, occasionally, I come across a pretty flower or mushroom etc... and I of course hold both of their leashes in one hand so I can snap a picture or two. :)
I matted both 3x4 photos onto
patterned paper and adhered them to the center of the layout. Next, I added the fun
banners using foam strips to add dimension. I cut two
word flags out of the cut-apart sheet and stapled them at the top of the layouts. After I had the overall placement set, I mounted all the beautiful
embellishments down using glue.
I cut some chipmunks from patterned paper to glue on the banner. The owls were also fussy cut and glued to the banner to make it more fun.
Loving all the clusters of embellishment across the two pages. They are so cute!
I journaled on a few labels and clustered a variety of embellishments at the bottom of the layout to fill in the white space.
Love the "wild life"
definition sticker. It was perfect for the bottom of this spread. Notice how I fussy cut the little yellow flowers from a
die cut to add a little touch above the sentimental label.
Another favorite of mine is the word titles! I glued them onto the photo and added the
labels with a little journaling to fill in the space.
I hope I inspired you today! Don't forget to take your camera on your daily walks-you just never know when you'll come across an opportunity to take a beautiful photo of nature. Visit the shop here, to see the full Ginger Snap collection. Thanks so much for visiting today!
