Good morning, friends! Nicole here with a mixed media layout I created using the Polishing Plaster. I just love this medium...it adds such a beautiful texture to my projects and I cannot get enough of it.
The Shimmering Sage Polishing Plaster is such a beautiful color! And if you look closely, you'll notice a little shimmer! I used a stencil to create a fun, textured background for my layout. It's super simple and I just enjoy the process of pulling the Polishing Plaster through the stencil. :)
The Polishing Plaster has such a nice consistency to it. It's goes through the stencil smoothly and I have not had any bleeding or smearing below the stencil and as you can see, this stencil has a variety of thin lines!
It takes about an hour for the Polishing Plaster to dry on it's own. I could have used a heat gun to speed up the process, but I was in no hurry. While the layout was drying, I moved my pictures and embellishments around on my mat to get an idea of how I wanted the design of the layout to be!
Here is a closer look at how much texture the Polishing Plaster adds to the layout. Isn't it beautiful!?
