Good morning, friends! Nicole here, sharing a scrapbooking layout I created using a variety of
Polishing Plaster and a stencil to create a fun background full of cameras. I drew inspiration from the large camera at the bottom of the layout and thought it would be cool to add a variety of small cameras at the top of the layout. I am using Simple Storie's Simple
Vintage Flower Shoppe collection to embellish the layout.
To begin, I taped down the stencil directly on the layout to prevent the stencil from slipping. Next, I used a palette knife to pull the
Jack Frost Polishing Plaster through the stencil. After that, I mixed a small amount of the
Cayenne Polishing Plaster with the
Riverstone Texture Medium to create a pink hue. I used a palette knife to pull the pink through the stencil sparingly, allowing the Jack Frost to peep through. After that, I applied a small amount of the
Organic Sugar Polishing Plaster sparingly throughout the stencil. I used the scrapping tool to remove the excess
Polishing Plaster to create a smooth surface. I let this sit overnight to dry.
Here is what the background looks like after the
Polishing Plaster is completely dry. LOVE the texture!
Now, the easy part! Assembling the layout with all the pretty embellishments! I love the
Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe collection from Simple Stories. The colors are so stunning!
I love playing with embellishments... I used a good amount of pretty embellishments on this layout. I used tags to fill in the white space at the top of the layout. Then, I added a variety of stickers, chipboard, and foam stickers to add dimension.
I hope I inspired you today! I love how pretty this layout turned out. Thank you for visiting today!
Nicole
