THIS IS JOY

Good morning stampers! I am excited to announce that I am guest designing this month for Precious Remembrance Shop. I've been a big fan of their acrylic stamps for some time now and I can't wait to share with you all of the projects I created for them.

In the meantime, let me share this adorable layout I created using their "Everyday Stamp Set" stamps and their Happiness Paper Snippets! This stamp set was perfect for scrapbooking this selfie I snapped while we were at the Magic Kingdom Christmas day! We had such a great time! As I look at this photo, I realize just how much he looks like me... LOVE HIM.

To begin, I tried finding a blue or pink ink that would match the Happiness Paper Snippets. I decided to use the pink. Who says you can't use pink on a boy's layout? Not this girl...

I really like Prima's chalk inks. They really look pretty against white cardstock.

I decided to use the heart stamp to help frame the photos. Then I tucked the "favorite" paper snippet at the top right corner of the photo.

I layered a few more cut-apart die cuts at the bottom then added the large foam title to help pull the journaling strips together.

Here's a closer look at the layered paper snippets. I love them. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by today! If you're a stamper, check out Precious Remembrance's Shop stamps in their shop!

HELLO WINTER

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a winter layout I created using Bramble Fox's January Fox Box. It's perfect for scrapbooking those winter days in your life. We haven't gotten any snow yet this year so I dug out two photos from last January that I never scrapped yet. I was really excited when I got this month's kit because in my box, I got a stencil. This is something new in the shop and I love stencils. I'll be sure to buy them all. LOL

I used Tombow glue to glue the acrylics inside the die cut speech bubbles from Pretty Little Studio.

I used Prima's ink over the stencils then splashed some Tattered Angels mists all over the layout.

I grabbed a few journaling cards from my stash to mat the photos. Pretty Little Studio has a variety of cute journaling cards in their shop. They are a personal favorite of mine.

I sprinkled some snowflake sprinkles all over the layout. They can be purchased in Trinity Stamps' shop.

Thanks for visiting today! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

CRAY CRAY

Hi everyone. Last month, I think I lost my mind. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I agreed to take two boys, eight and nine to 5 Below.... Then we went to grab some frozen yogurt and headed to the movies to see The Grinch. The boys had so much fun though...and that's really all that matters. It was all for the kids, NOT my sanity.

For this layout, I used lots of stickers from Paper House and Bramble Fox's acrylic (cray cray) word sentiment. It was perfect for this layout. LOL

To create the background, I used several stamps and inks and stamped the images onto white cardstock.

Then I painted the bottom portion with teal paint and a silicone brush so the paint would have a nice smooth appearance. I used a green marker to color in the stars to add more color.

Once the paint was completely dry, I added layers of tags, stickers and photos along with a few jewels and buttons. :) Isn't this such a fun layout? I had so much fun playing with this layout. I've always been a fan of Technique Tuesday's stamps! I bought this last month on sale.

The 3D Movie Night themed stickers from Paper House is my favorite. Anytime I spot movie themed stickers I grab them because one of my favorite things to do is going to see a good movie and stopping at the Photo Booth to have our photo taken.

I used foam squares to add the smiley and star onto the acrylic piece.

I fed a piece of string through the white tag and mounted it to the layout using foam squares. I love all of the pretty embellishments on this layout.

My favorite tool these days is my mini stapler...

Thanks so much for visiting today!

A MERRY DISNEY TRIP

Good morning friends and family! We just got back from Disney on Thursday. It took me a few days to get back to reality. Disney wore us all out. LOL. Each day we were there, we took over sixteen thousand steps. No kidding! I wanted to take a minute to share a few or a lot of my favorite photos from our trip. While we were at Disney, we visited the Animal Kingdom, The Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

My least favorite was The Magic Kingdom and that is because it was insanely crowded. We couldn't move... we only lasted a few hours there. But we LOVED the Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

I had to get a shot of the bracelets... just for fun. :)

We stopped by the Lego Store while we were at Disney Springs to do a little bit of shopping and for dinner.

The Mount Everest ride was AWESOME. We really liked it.

I love this wall...

The lines were too long to have a photographer take our photo in front of the castle so we decided to take a selfie instead. Pete did a good job!

HAHA, This makes me laugh.

I love Goofy and this was a must for me... All I wanted was a photo with Goofy. We stopped to meet the characters first thing in the morning when we arrived to Epcot.

I loved the different decorations all over the park... seriously, they are so unique and beautiful.

Can you say wow!! I promise you, this scene was much prettier in person. The animals were all out this morning when we went on a little Safari ride at the Animal Kingdom.

This poor girl was not happy that her sister would not play with her... She literally sat there with her arms crossed, pouting. The sister was up top on the rocks...beating her chest!

I love these handmade dolls! Pete was rushing me out... I would have loved to buy one. Maybe next time.

I don't know what Pete was thinking, putting Edward up on his shoulders, but it didn't last long. LOL

Edward LOVED getting his face painted... it was worth $20 each time because it's what kids should do...

Edward wanted his picture taken with Ty when we got back to the hotel. :)

The kids were playing in front of this cool water fountain where the water shoots out of multiple holes across the front of the building. It was so neat!

I loved watching these little guys. Aren't they cute?

This photo was taken as we were leaving Epcot late Wednesday night. I can't believe we made it til 8ish there, but we all enjoyed Epcot so much! So glade we opted on going to Epcot instead of Hollywood Studios. We can't wait to go back! Next time we go, we want to go back to Epcot and visit Universal Studios. Also, rather than wake up early to head to the parks, we are going to wait until 2/3 to go. We noticed that the Parks were less crowded in the afternoon!
