APRIL MEMORY PLANNER SPREAD

Hi everyone. I had a fun weekend at the Cozy Crop House with a few of my friends. I scrapped all weekend and was up past 1 each night, which is late for me. My goal this weekend was to get caught up in my Memory Planner and I did just that!

I love the color scheme of this spread. Isn't it so pretty? I'm pretty sure it took me an hour...but we won't talk about that part. LOL

The great thing about this spread...I was able to use up lots of die cuts that have been sitting in a big plastic baggie...untouched.

I also did something new...stamped on vellum...and I have to say, I LOVE IT! It's so pretty.

Have you tried this format of memory keeping? This is my second year doing this format and I really like it.

Thank you so much for visiting today!

GOOD VIBES/BRUTUS MONROE

Good morning friends! Last month, mom and I went to the American Craft Council to meet our friend Cindy for the very first time! I know Cindy from social media when she used to scrapbook. She was one of my favorite designers and today she is one of my favorite jewelry makers! You can check out Cindy's website, here.

To begin, I taped down the star stencil down on the far right-side of the cardstock. Then, I used a palette knife to cover the stencil with a variety Chroma Glaze. I was going for a whimsical background and I really like how this turned out.

I should have added some tape along the edge to prevent the lines...but I covered it up by rubbing some glaze all around the layout. :)

After the glaze was completely dry, I stamped the little hearts in black ink between the stars and glued down the gems to add a bit of sparkle.

Then I added a few die cuts from Vicki Boutin to embellish the layout. I love her die cuts so much and I think they look great with the stars!

Most of the time, I like to hand-journal on my layouts, but there was too much I wanted to write so I printed the journaling on paper instead and added it below the photo. I used a blending brush and ink to color a piece of white cardstock and then stamped the rainbow onto the paper and fussy cut it to use as an embellishment. I used the same technique for the shooting star and stamped the sentiment below the journaling.

What do you think? I just love the color scheme and overall feel of this layout!

I hope I inspired you today to play with Chroma Glazes. They are super easy to use and fun to play with! Grab these products before they sell out through my Brutus Monroe affiliate link. HERE AND THERE TRAVEL NOTEBOOK SPREADS/STUDIO FORTY

Hello friends! Nicole here with a few travel notebook spreads I created for my family album using the Here and There collection. I decided to look through some of my older vacation pictures and came across this picture from over 20 years ago...we were in Costa Rica for the first time. We absolutely love it there and cannot wait to go back.

I used a few papers from the travel notebook paper pad along with some die cuts, chipboard, and sticker dots. And if you look closely, you'll see some stamping! Stamping doesn't need to be busy... it can be subtle.

This gorgeous collection is available in the shop! Click here to see the full Here and There Collection. You will not be disappointed.

I embellished a few journaling cards with stickers, chipboard and sticker dots to make them pop. Super simple, but cute!

For this layout, I used a few pieces of travel notebook paper to use as a base and mat for the photo and then tucked the journaling card slightly behind the photo. After that, I added all of the fun embellishments.

Here is another super simple spread I created using the same format, but with less embellishments for a cleaner look.

What do you think? Are you inspired to start documenting those vacation/summer memories, yet? Thank you so much for visiting today!

CELEBRATE/ BRUTUS MONROE

Summer is almost here. It's my favorite season to document! My husband and I are so lucky... we live just minutes from the water. It's nothing fancy, but it's our little paradise. We couldn't ask for a better neighborhood to live in.

Brutus Monroe never ceases to amaze me with their beautiful product. I get excited every time my box arrives...just to see the new stamps, dies and mixed media mediums. They are fantastic!

For the bottom of the layout, I used The Crafter's Workshop's Ocean Waves slimline stencil along with Brutus Monroe's Chroma Glaze. I just love it!! The bear and raccoon are from the Beach Bum stamp set. I stamped them on white cardstock and colored in the images using alcohol markers. Aren't they adorable?!

I stamped the bucket and pale along with the ball and colored them and fussy cut them to use as fun embellishments for the layout. The watermelon, drink and heart was cut from the Beach Bum papers.

I use Christopher's sentiment dies to create the title with some pink ink for the background and green chroma glaze for the center. The green is so shiny and pretty once it's completely dry!

Here is a closer look at the stamps. LOVE this layout so much. It just screams SUMMER!

And that stencil... FUN!!
