Happy weekend! I'm sharing this beautiful layout I created using 49 and Market's newest collection, Moonlit Garden. I fell in love with this collection the minute I saw it. I love the gray, blue, and green tones! It's so lovely.

I used a variety of frames on this layout. They are so pretty! I cut the larger one in half to stretch it throughout the layout. 

The chipboard embellishments in this collection is soooo pretty. Loving everything, especially the flowers.

I used a few foam squares to pop up some of the embellishments for added dimension.

I used a few of the circle sticker dots, too. Can you spot them all? :)

The word font from the sentiments is absolutely beautiful. I added a few chipboard sentiments below the title to fill in the white space.

BEAUTY/PERFECT PAINTS

Hello, friends! Nicole here with another mixed media layout I created using 49 and Market's Serenity collection along with some Shimmering Matte Acrylics.

I used the Bohemian Blue and Vintage Mercury acrylics for the background and man do I love how it turned out!! I seriously want to frame this and hang it somewhere...

Believe it or not, the background was super simple to create and I am going to share how I did the background using a piece of packaging and some paint.

I added a teaspoon amount of the Vintage Mercury and dropped it onto the packaging and then I smooched It around the packaging to spread the paint out a bit. Then I dabbed it all around the base of the layout. I followed the same steps with the Bohemian Blue.

What do you think? I absolutely love these colors together and they mesh so well together with the paper collection I used.

I love BLUE...it's my favorite color...and this little cluster of butterflies and greenery makes my heart happy.

PAWSOME/SIMPLE STORIES

My dog, Moxie has a lot of personality. LOL...While we were on our morning walk, I stopped to take a few selfies and the look he gave me is priceless... he had that look like he was thinking, "lady, are we going to walk or what?" LOL

For this layout, I am using the Pet Shoppe Dog collection from Simple Stories. The yellow paw print paper is from the Pet Shoppe Cat collection. 

There are so many cute embellishments in this collection! I especially like the metal brads and washi tape! I used a bit of them on this 12x12 layout.

That chicken is too cute...I had to add him for fun.

And the foam stickers are another favorite of mine. The "who's a good boy?" is perfect for this tag. Notice how I sprinkled the brads over the polka dots. Super fun. I added the dog bone to the tag, too. Love all the texture and dimension on this layout. I used a metal tag die to cut the tags from the photos and patterned paper. 

More embellishments! I used a lot...I know, but they are super fun to play with. It's hard to know when to stop.

I added this nice cluster of embellishments at the bottom to fill in the white space.

YOU AND ME/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, just sharing this layout I created using the Heart Eyes collection from Simple Stories! This is one of my submissions for the call that is currently happening. I made this layout months ago...holding it specifically for the call. I'm sure I won't make the call due to the amount of talent out there...so I'm going to start sharing my projects I submitted for the call. :) I believe, this is my fifth time trying. Just saying...

The pink, orange, and turquoise colors really drew me into this collection! This is a Valentine's Day Collection, but I used it for a brother/sister layout instead and it totally works. It's fun, challenging myself to think outside of the box for themed collections.

One of my favorite embellishments from this collection is the foam stickers. They are super fun, pretty and just the right dimension. And can you spot the adorable smiley face foam sticker?! CUTE!

That "You're Turtley Awesome" tag is super cute, too. I love how it looks on this layout. Yes, I used a lot of embellishments, but I don't think I did too many...everything is nice and spread out. :)

I used some washi tape along the edges to add dimension and depth. I LOVE washi tape. A little goes a long way. :) I decided to add a touch of the black and white washi to bring out the black and white hearts...

This little cluster of embellishments is super yummy! I wanted to fill in the white space and I just love this little cluster!

THIS IS MY HAPPY PLACE/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends! I'm sharing a layout I created using Simple Stories Vintage Coastal collection. I love this collection...the colors are so pretty and I love the embellishments.

I love layers...as you can see. I layered a few sheets of patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad to create a fun background for the photos.  Then, I grabbed a few die cuts and moved them around to find a good place for them.

I cut little triangles from a  scrap piece of paper to create the photo corners and used foam squares to pop the "our happy place" die cut up to add dimension.

This cluster of embellishments makes me so happy!  

Isn't this such a pretty layout. I especially like the design. It's super fun.

Everything looks well balanced.... with just the right amount of color and embellishments. Don't you think?

BECOME ONE WITH NATURE/PERFECT PAINTS

Good morning, friends! Nicole, here with a 12x12 layout. I don't normally scrap this size much, but I am going to challenge myself to create a 12x12 occasionally, because I know some of my fans scrapbook this size.

I used the beautiful Nature's Study collection from 49 & Market and the Vintage Mercury Shimmery Matte acrylic paint. I love the color of this paint and I thought it would look great around the edges of my embellishments for a little pop!

I used my fingers to smear the paint over the flower and I did the same with the border to change it up a bit! It's sooo pretty and this acrylic paint adds just the right amount of shimmer to the embellishments. Also, I rubbed the paint around the edges of the photo frame and I love how it looks.

I fussy cut the mushrooms from a piece of die cut to frame the photo and then I tucked in the pretty laser die flowers.

Doesn't this layout feel like nature to you? It's so good and I couldn't stop putting down the embellishments... they are so pretty. I just wanted to use them all.

Here is a close up of the "wonder" die cut. I added the Vintage Mercury acrylic paint around the edges. Next, I added a few leaves at the bottom to add dimension.

Isn't this lovely? I had so much fun making this 12x12 layout! I'm not gonna lie. I was a little nervous about how this was going to turn out, being 12x12 and no real design in mind...but I think I pulled it off!If you haven't checked out the acrylic paints in the shop, check them out today, here. LOVE/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends! I'm sharing a layout I created using Simple Stories' Heart Eyes Collection. This collection isn't just for creating Valentines day layouts. I actually used it for my sister's fall photo shoot of her adorable little family! 

The patterns and color scheme in this collection really made me want to buy it all. And those flowers are so beautiful! I'm not gonna lie, it was hard cutting the orange floral printed paper... I just wanted to keep it...but I am determined to use my stuff this year...no more hoarding for this girl!

I always have a hard time knowing when to stop applying embellishments on my layouts... I just love it all! I'm sure I'm not alone... and many of you probably have the same issue. 

I really like the black and white stripes and polka dot elements in this collection as well. They look great against the other colors.

I added lots of hearts to this spread because there's so much love in the photos!
