LIFE IS SO VERY GOOD/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends. I'm excited to share my latest flipbook I created using Simple Stories' Color Me Happy collection. I love how bright, and fun this collection is! It's perfect for a girls weekend away! I used this collection to document my sister's 30th birthday bash!

I covered the flipbook with patterned paper and then aded the stickers and chipboard. I used foam squares to pop up the sticker title for dimension.

Throughout the album, I have a few simple pages and a variety of flips and interactive pages. Sometimes, a tag with a photo and just a few embellishments is enough! Not every page needs to be filled with a lot of embellishments. Although, I must admit...that's hard for me because I always want to use all the things. lol

I cut a 3x4 journaling card from the cut-apart sheet and folded the top about 1/4" and added double sided red tape to add it at the top of the photo to create a flip.
I love that the die cut pack comes with little pockets! I used string to loop through the die cut tags to hold them all in place and tucked them inside the pocket.
I just love all the little details of this album! I'm slightly bummed that this album does not have a YouTube tutorial because I created this in March during my weekend CROP with my friends! We had such a great time together.
My sister took so many fun photos during her weekend birthday bash, which made this album come to life! I just love how happy she is with her close friends.
I glued the chipboard frame to the photo to zoom in on the water. I love playing with embellishments, and finding fun ways to use them.
LOVE the "COLOR" title with the decorative brads. Isn't this such a fun page!? The colors make me happy. I cut three 3x4 journaling cards so they were attached horizontally and then folded the right side towards the center to create the flip.
Katie had so many photos, which was hard to include in this album due to the limited pages...I got creative and printed a variety of photos in a small print and then used my metal tag die to cut them into tags to add them to the pocket! This was my first time doing this in my flipbook and I absolutely loved how this turned out! Also, rather than include some of these pages in the pocket sleeves, I mount them right onto the sleeve using a strong double sided adhesive tape.
LOVE that circle pattern paper with the "LOVE" sticker that I popped up using foam squares. I added the decorative brad for fun.

For this spread, I printed two 3x4 photos onto a 4x6 photo paper and mounted it to a 4x6 piece of patterned paper. Next, I added a few embellishments and created the flip. Super simple!

I love this photo with the butterfly! The colors just pop. I kept this page pretty simple to focus on the photo.

I traced the die cut journaling card onto the photo so the photo fit perfectly at the front to create the flip. This was super fun! I was impressed with myself for thinking to do this!

And that's a wrap! I can't wait to give this to my sister!! It turned out so cute and it's just perfect...this is  one of my favorite albums I've made in the past year. Thank you so much for visiting today! If you love this album, check out my other flipbooks on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@nicolemartel1978/playlists

GOOD TIMES FLIPBOOK/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, friends! It's Nicole here with a  bit of fresh air! Today, I'm excited to share this adorable 4x6 Flipbook I created using the Pink Lemonade Collection. It's perfect for Spring or Summer! The color palette is pretty and fresh, and I'm all for it! I decided to document my walks with my fur-babies. My favorite time of the year is Spring and I always enjoy looking at the pretty flowers during my walks...I often at times will stop just to snap a photo or two. Nature is so beautiful!

One thing that drew my eye is the lemons! I think they are super fun and I used bits and pieces of lemon elements throughout the mini album. Actually, I used it all...but I especially love the lemons. The yellow makes me happy! Hence, the album is yellow...
I incorporated a variety of hidden pockets and flip elements throughout the album to make it fun! There will be a Youtube process video at the end so you can see how this came together!

The clustered embellishments are so pretty. I always struggle with how many to use... what's too much? Or maybe...you can never have too many. It's one of my favorite things to do... looking through all the embellishments to determine what to use in my albums. And they  are what really brings this album to life.
I cut four 3x4 journaling cards so they were attached in a strip and folded both ends to the center to create a fun flip page. Next, I mounted the card directly to the page protector sleeve.
I used a variety of stickers from the collection kit. Those label stickers are my favorite! And the butterflies are so pretty!
I mounted this page to the page protector so that the tag pulls in and out from the side! This is a great way to include hidden journaling inside your albums.
The patterns in this collection is so fresh and pretty. I tried to use most of them throughout the album.
Here is another flip page I created using the 3x4 journaling cards. Isn't this the cutest album ever?
I hope you found this album inspiring! Are you ready to grab your spring photos and make one of your own? Be sure to check out my process video for tips on techniques on how to create a variety of interactive pages for your next mini!

HELLO-LOVE THIS FLIPBOOK/MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK

Good morning!! I have a fun family flipbook album to share with you using My Creative Scrapbook's main kit for February. The kit feature's Simple Stories' Take Note collection. The flipbook did not come with the main kit.

For the cover, I decorated it with a few stickers, chipboard, and foam stickers. Next, I added the ribbon that I purchased from Amazon. This is my favorite ribbon, and it goes with everything.

I cut the 4x6 journaling card from the cut-apart sheet and then added the butterfly sticker, "today" chipboard to the center of the camera lens, and then I added the yellow flower using foam to add dimension.

I cut three 3x4 journaling cards so they were still attached and folded the left card to the center to create a partial flip page. I used a few die cuts to fill in the white space on the photo.

Here is a tag that I embellished and journaled for the flip page. This is a great way to get your stories documented in your albums.

I cut the patterned paper to measure 4x6 and decorated the page with die cuts and stickers.

I cut the journaling card from the cut-apart sheet to use as a frame for the photo. Next, I added the tag, stickers and die cuts.

I cut two 3x4 cards out while they were still attached. I used the left-side as a mat for the photo and decorated it with die cuts, and stickers. I left the right-side alone, and just added the blue flower to add dimension.
This is a simple page I created by cutting the patterned paper to measure 4x6. Next, I added the 3x4 photo to the far right-side of the paper. After that, I added the die cuts.

I cut two journaling cards from the cut-apart sheet and folded it in half to create the flip.  I added red tape to create a flip. Check out my YouTube video for the full tutorial on how this little album came together.

There is so much to look at in this album. I love all the clustered embellishments. They are so pretty.

Have you made a flipbook before? They are super fun and I really enjoy them. I have a variety of flipbook albums on my YouTube channel to inspire you!
Thank you so much for visiting and take care!

CHRISTMAS 6X8 FLIPBOOK/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends! Nicole, here with a fun Flipbook I created using the beautiful Hard Candy Christmas collection. I love all the Christmas collections, but I must admit...this is my favorite. The colors are so girly and fun and it makes me think about my early childhood with those hard candies that came in a nice tin. Who remembers those?

I absolutely adore this 6x8 patterned paper from the Hard Candy Christmas 6x8 paper pad. It's so darn cute. I did not do much here. I just added a few decorative brads to add dimension.
Loving all the pretty layers on this page. I had fun adding all the pretty embellishments. I used a few foam strips to add dimension. And I cut the cards from the journaling cards to create a hidden flip page.
For this layout, I used mainly the Page Pieces aside from the patterned paper, enamel dots, and decorative brads. I just love the big title with the Christmas tree. Isn't this fun?!
Here are some fun close ups of a few tags in this album along with the flip pages and what's underneath them. I just love these little details! I'm ready for the holidays!
I put together a few fun pocket page inserts, too. Loving these 3x4 cards so much with the layered embellishments.
Here is a simple pocket page spread with a flip page. The picture is a bit older, but it's one of my favorites!
I created this flip page by cutting four 3x4 journaling cards so they were attached together horizontally. Next, I folded the left and right-side towards the middle to create the fold. I decorated the cards with die cuts, chipboard, decorative brads and enamel dots.

I forget how much fun decorating pocket pages... they are super simple, but with the right embellishments and journaling cards, they pop! Isn't this super cute? This collection makes me super happy. Everything is bright and cheery.
I hope you were inspired today! I had so much fun making this Flipbook and I cannot wait to add some more photos to it this holiday season. Click here, to check out the process video on how this came together.

Happy Holidays,
Nicole

JOY 4X6 FLIPBOOK/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends. I'm excited to share my latest 4x6 flipbook I created using Simple Stories' Say Cheese Classic Mouse Christmas collection. It's super cute, and I just happen to have the perfect pictures for it! My sister took her kids to Disney last year for Christmas and of course she took many fun photos for me to use!

The Black Buffalo Check SN@P 4X6 Flipbook looks so beautiful with the Classic Mouse Christmas collection. I just love how pretty the cover turned out with the die cuts and foam stickers. It's so darn cute.
I decorated the back of the cover using foam stickers, sticker sentiment and brads.
To create this flip page, I cut two 4x6 journaling cards so they were attached and scored it in half to create the flip. Next, I used adhesive to attach it directly to the clear page. After that, I added the beautiful embellishments at the top to fill in the white space.
I create this fun flip pocket by cutting our 4 3x4 journaling cards so they were attached and folded both ends towards the middle to create the flip. Next, I mounted it to the clear page and added embellishments.
I placed the 4x6 photo inside the flip page along with a tag that I cut from the cut-apart sheet and added stickers and a decorative brad to add dimension. Super cute!
I love creating flip pages throughout the album because it's an easy page to create an interactive album, and it's fun to flip through the adorable pages and be able to touch and feel the embellishments.
There are lots of pretty embellishments on this spread. I love all the embellishments and the Kraft Christmas tree.

I kept this page simple, and just added a few journaling card elements and die cuts.
I cut the tag from the cut-apart sheet down to fill in the white space and then added the stickers and decorative brads.
And that's a wrap. Isn't this little album adorable? Check out the full process video through my YouTube channel. Thanks so much for visiting today!
