HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDWARD!

I have an 11 year old! It's hard to believe that over a decade ago, at 12:32 am. this handsome soul entered my life after being in labor for almost 24 hours. And if I had to do it all again, I would because he is the best thing in my life. He is my pride and joy.

He is growing a few inches taller and he is mouthy and sweet and sometimes sour... Just like his mommy. He is a good kid... Seriously, I got so lucky. He's such an incredible human being and I am so glad to call him my son. Just taking a moment to share a few of my favorite photos of Edward for the past 11 years!

This kid is smart, funny, crafty, caring, helpful and polite (to everyone except for me...). Currently, he loves to play Roblox, and watch YouTube videos of Codfish Beat Boxing... This past year has been a real struggle for Edward. It hasn't been his most fun year...with not seeing his friends due to Covid-19 and virtually learning has been very challenging for him and me...but we are doing our best! And I am trying not to lose my shit on him on a daily basis... Things will be much better for both of us when he goes back to school. We are simply sick of each other, but we still love each other... I mean, we still laugh together, which is something. It's better than crying.

EDWARD'S SHIRT

It's been hard this year...Edward spends the majority of his days on the computer...but one of the things he really enjoys is making t-shirts! He's quite the little artist. The other night he walked into my craft room and told me he wanted to make a shirt. My response was, "you know where everything is!" It looks like my craft room has become "our" craft room. And I love it! I'm so happy he loves to create beautiful art just like me.

Here are some pictures I took of him making his shirt. I really enjoyed watching him go through the process of creating a Sublimation project. If you want to learn more about this process, visit Artesrpix's Blog and store. Once you start, you won't want to stop. :) It's addicting, but fun! 

To begin, he printed out the images from the internet.

Here he is setting up the lightbox so that he can use a lightbox to color in the images...he has seen me do this multiple times... he just sat down and quietly watched me created things many nights...

He took his time and used his phone to see the graphics and colors...I am truly impressed...

Here's how the sublimation markers look was it came out of the heat press! SOOOOO FUN!

It was nigh time when I took this photo...not the best, but I wanted to take it while he was willing...

This kid is smart, funny, crafty, caring, helpful and polite. Currently, he loves to play Minecrafts, Mario Cart and watch YouTube videos. He reads. Only because I make him. :) But he's in 4th Grade reading above his grade level. He's a math wiz. He's quite the little artist too. He likes to do a bit of everything. He REALLY loves going to grandma's so he can cook. This boy loves to cook. I promise you, he did not get that from me.

He does really well in school and he has so many friends who love and adore him. This makes me happy... Everyone seems to love Edward as much as I do. He's really an awesome kid.
