FOR THE RECORD POCKET PAGES/A CHERRY ON TOP

Hello, all! I hope you're having a fantastic weekend. Today, I'm sharing a few pocket pages I created using Simple Stories' For the Record collection. This collection is perfect for documenting your daily life. There's so many fun things in this collection. I love the patterned papers, rub-ons, and decorative brads. They are a few of my favorites, but the entire collection is so great.

This is a fun pocket spread with an interactive paper I created by cutting four 3x4 journaling cards together and flipping the ends to create the flip. I mounted a 4x6 photo inside this flip page. I cut the floral die cuts in half to create a fun border for the photo.

Who doesn't love a fun pocket page?! I cut the patterned paper to measure 8"x4". Next, punched holes along the left-side to create the pocket. I used red sticky tape to tape the pocket down to the grid paper.

I mounted down a 6x8 patterned paper to the chipboard page and added a few chipboard embellishments to create a fun insert page for the album.

My last spread for today includes a grid pocket page-similar to the once I created for the YouTube hop. This is what my son's daily life looks like... he has fun...while I work. LOL

Just in case you missed my YouTube video on how I created this fun grid pocket page, here's the layout I created of my daily life.

Have you gotten your hands on the For the Record collection yet? It's a great collection...and it's versatile. I created two summer layouts using my scraps! Can't wait to share those with you in the next few months. Thank you so much for visiting today!
