FOR THE RECORD SNAP ALBUM/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, friends! Nicole here with a fun SNAP Binder project I created using the For the Record collection. This collection is perfect for documenting your LIFE! It's great for documenting your work, family, pets, favorite movies, books and more! Initially, I was going to create monthly layouts using favorite photos from each month from 2024...but then I decided I wanted to document the "here and now" and I just love how this album came together...I'm super excited to share it with you today and I sure do hope you find it inspiring...to help jump start your mojo to document your "here and now" album.

For the cover of the album, I went with the camera print 6x8 print because I wanted a semi-white background, and I like how it looks with the chipboard frames backed with journaling cards. I placed the floral foam sticker and decorative brad between the two frames to help tie them together.
Before I create any pages, I like to set up my album by first decorating the bookplate, inside of the SNAP Binder and I like to decorate the notebook pages, too. I used a variety of rub-ons, chipboard, decorative brands and foam stickers to make this album fun.
I think you all know how I love playing with these chipboard pages! Normally, I use rub-ons to decorate the chipboard inserts or create mixed media pages...however, I really love the different foam stickers...and decided to keep it simple and use up those foam stickers! I added the rub-on titles to the tabs and just so you are aware...those circle rub-ons fit perfectly around the tab titles. I was super excited when I discovered this! Isn't that cool?!
I really wanted to document my favorite shows, movies, and books from the past year...I kept it simple and added the "plot twist" foam sticker with the "real life" sticker I added to the center. Then, I added a little bit of journaling to the cut-apart label. I was careful with the placement of the embellishments so I wouldn't hide any of the photos.

LOVE this spread...I used quite a few rub-ons. Can you spot them all? This is my office when I go in on-site once a month. I love how the embellishments look with the pictures. It's the perfect work page. What do you think?
I included a picture of my home office. Not anything like at work... I used the chipboard "document" chipboard to cover the stamp on the card to add dimension.
More rub-ons... I have so much fun using these... seriously, they are so much fun... and you can use them on journaling cards and die cuts to make them pop!
I love it when the patterned papers match the photos, perfectly! I used so many embellishments on this spread and just had fun adding layers to this layout to make it fun. It's my favorite page out of the entire album.
Here's my baby...not so much a baby anymore. He'll be 15 in just two weeks. It's hard to get him to cooperate and take pictures with me... I may have bribed him for these photos. The chipboard frame is darling, and it looks great with these photos. I decorated the frame with rub-ons, decorative brads, die cuts, chipboard and foam stickers to add dimension.

I didn't have to bribe this one to take these pictures...LOL. He's used to it after almost 25 years of being together. I added more embellishments to add dimension. I hope you found this album inspiring! I love the For the Record collection, and I plan on adding more layouts to it during the next few weeks. Click here to check out the full collection. Thank you so much for visiting today!
