WINTER ALBUM/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, friends! I'm excited to share my latest little flipbook album I created for Simple Stories using the Snow Pine Lodge collection. It's such a cute collection and I thought it would be perfect for a winter album of my fur-baby playing in his first "real" snow.

I used a variety of chipboard and foam stickers to decorate the cover of the album. I added the decorative brads to fill in the white space. Next, I tied a bow around the spine of the album and glued the decorative brad to the bow to make it more pretty.

I always like to embellish the back of the cover with a variety of chipboard, die cuts, rub-ons, and foam stickers to make it fun. Don't be afraid to cut the chipboard to make it work. I cut the coat so that I could use part of it for this page.

I cut the woodgrain paper from the cut-apart sheet to use as a fun insert page. I mounted a tree die cut to the trees using foam squares to add dimension. Next, I cut the floral die cut in half and glued it at the top of the page and added the decorative brads. Aren't those brads beautiful! I love them all.

This is one of my favorite pages from this little flip book. Doesn't it feel like winter? I used the "Let it Snow" rub-on sentiments across the bottom to create a fun title for the page. I hand-journaled on the cut-apart sheet to share a little about our adventure.

This is another page from the cut-apart sheet. I used lots of foam squares to make the layers. This was a lot of fun to make...I especially had fun with the snowflakes.

I created this flip page by cutting two 3x4 journaling tags together and folding the page in half. I used double sided tape to mount the folded cards directly onto the plastic sleeve.

For the inside, I added the tag with some string, a little snowflake and some journaling. Super simple!

This is another flip page I created cutting two 4x6 cards together and folding it in half. I tucked several flowers/embellishments slightly behind the photo to fill in the white space.

The chipboard frames in this collection is perfect for framing your photos! I matted the photo behind the chipboard and trimmed the excess photo and mounted it directly onto the plastic sleeve. I added the 4x6 journaling card inside the sleeve to add the patterns in the background. Next, I used double sided-tape to add the trees and snowflakes.

For this page, I added the die cuts and rub-ons directly onto the picture. As you can see, I love playing with embellishments...these albums are super fun for me to make. It's one of my favorite things I love about this hobby...making albums for my friends, and family...and myself. of course.

Isn't that snowman adorable? I used foam squares for the sticker fox and squirrel to pop them up off the page. The "Love & Joy" is a 3x4 card I cut from the cut-apart sheet.

Simple Stories has so many fabulous collections out this season and I am here for them all... Are you ready to create an album? Check out the full Snow Pine Lodge collection, here. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Thank you for visiting me, today.
