XOXO SNAP ALBUM/SIMPLE STORI

Hello, friends! Happy New Year! I’m looking to inspire you all year long with more flipbooks and SNAP albums! The Heartstrings collection is so pretty, and I had fun creating this anniversary album. I used older pictures of me with Pete along with a few recent pictures. As you can see, we were babies and 24 years later…we are still going strong!

I love having fun with my albums! The chipboard pages are perfect for stencils and mixed media. Other ways I like to personalize my album is by decorating the tab along the spine of the album using decorative brads and foam stickers. And I always decorate a notebook page with embellishments. Isn’t this adorable?! I just love the pink and orange color scheme of this beautiful collection.

I added the “love you” foam stickers and heart along the inside of the spine and mounted the 6x8 paper from the paper pad to the pink and white polka dot page that comes with the album. Isn’t that font, cute!? It’s super fun, too.

I added a few die cuts and enamel dots to the flowers to fill in some of the white space. For the bottom, I cut two 4x6 journaling cards so that they were attached and folded it in half to create a fun flip page. I added a few foam sticker hearts to add dimension.

I absolutely love this page. I like to decorate the journal card page from the 6x8 paper pad with foam stickers and other embellishments to add dimension. Later, I plan on going back and adding a few of my favorite things/memories of the two of us together.

Next, I created a fun interactive, foldable spread using the journaling cards. I cut the 3x4 cards so that they were in a strip of 4. I folded both ends so they could open/close and then added the photo inside.

I try to use up as much of a collection possible… and once I have the album and pocket pages done, I use up leftovers to create small 6x8 pages for my album.

I like to keep these pages simple, focusing on the photos! That banner is so fun with the flowers, I just had to use it. I cut the tag from the cut-apart tag sheet and added the pink string to add dimension.

I challenged myself to create a fun pocket page using a variety of papers, journaling cards, chipboard and stickers. I turned the 3x4 cards into tags to tuck inside the pocket. Seriously, isn’t that racoon cute. I think he looks perfect on this fun page.

I hope you found this album inspiring! I love how pretty it turned out and I plan on adding a few more pages to it. We just had pictures taken before the holidays and I’m waiting patiently for them so I can use them in this album! Click here to check out the full collection. Thank you so much for visiting today.
