FROSTY/MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK

Hello, friends! I'm back with two more layouts I created using the January main kite from My Creative Scrapbook. For spring break this year, my husband and son went out to visit my sister in Colorado and they went skiing and snowboarding, which is something Edward has been wanting to do. This kit is perfect for snow days!

I kept this layout simple, focusing on the photos. I used a variety of patterned papers for the background and matted the photos using tags and ephemera. Next, I added the rub-ons to the photo and the embellishments to fill in the white space.

The rub-ons look so pretty on this photo...and it's so perfect!

For the second layout, I decided to play with mixed media to create gorgeous snowflakes in the background. I used a stencil and polishing plaster to create the background.

I also used more rub-ons! I just couldn't get enough of them. They are perfect for filling in white space and if you're not sure what to journal, these work perfectly.
