SPRING/SUMMER GARDEN STAKES/ARTESPRIX

Hello! I'm sharing a fun project with you today! I have to admit, I was super excited to play with these garden stakes from Artresprix!! And I had the cutest stamps from Trinity Stamps to go with them.

Each packet contains two garden stakes!
To begin, I used a pencil to trace the garden stakes onto regular copy paper so that I could see how much space I had to work with.

Next, I placed the stamp over the trace area to determine what images I wanted to use and where was I going to place them. I am using the Spring in My Step Stamp set from Trinity Stamps.
I used the black sublimation ink pad and an acrylic block to stamp the images down onto the paper.
To create a mirror text, simply remove all of the stamps from the backing and flip the backing over so that the text is backwards. Then, place the paper over the window to trace the image using a pencil. If you have a Lightbox, go ahead and use that instead, but the window works, too.
After that, I used the fine tip black sublimation marker to trace over the sentiment.
Now, the fun part! I always enjoy coloring in the images. Turn on the music and just have fun!
How about that little chicky! He is the cutest! Next, tape down the garden stake using heat tape.
Place a piece of protective paper at the top and bottom of your project.
Then, place it in the heat press for 60 seconds at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Let the project sit for a few minutes before handling because it is hot... peel back a small area to make sure your image and colors transferred properly.
Here is the final outcome. I just love it so much and I can't wait to put this in my garden!
Here is another one I created. Isn't this adorable. :)
