GOLLY PART 2/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends! Nicole here with a few more pages I added to my album of me with my fur-baby using the Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection. This album brings a smile to my face every time I flip through it. It’s just so stinking cute!
Loving all the adorable die cuts in this collection! They are so cute, and I clustered as many die cuts as I possibly could without it being too distracting to the photos.
The rosettes are fun, too! I tucked a few here and there and added a few decorative brads to make them pop. I love the monochromatic feel of this layout. It looks great with the black and white photo.

For this spread, I cut two 3x4 journaling cards so that they were still connected and added a few die cuts. I stapled the “Good Times” die cut onto the card to create a flip element for the page.
I normally struggle with using washi tape on my projects, but I absolutely love how the black and white washi strips look on this spread with the added embellishments along the side of the photo.
As I was getting to the end of my album…I wanted to use up as much of this adorable collection as possible. I added a few die cuts together to create a fun insert page for the album.
I used the Bones stencil with some stencil butter to create a fun mixed media background for this spread.
That cow is so cute, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to get him on a page, but this totally works! I cut a tag from the cut-apart sheet, trimmed it down, punched a hole through the top and added some string to add dimension to the layout.
My goal for this album was to create lots of interactive pages and tag elements to go with the cuteness of this album. I created a little pocket for the tag. To create this flip page, I cut four 3x4 journaling tags together and folded it to create the flip page. I mounted the middle two to the page, leaving the other sides unmounted so it flips open. I added the tag for fun.
This layout was fun… This is what it looks like inside! It’s cute, right!? Are you ready to make one of these using pictures of your fur-baby? I hope you found this inspiring. Thank you so much for visiting today! Click here to see the full collection!
