WINTER WONDERLAND SNAP ALBUM/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning! I'm so excited to share the beginning stages of this winter album I created for my sister! I can't tell you how much fun I had creating this gem for her. I hope she loves it as much as I do. For this album, I am using Simple Stories' Fresh Snow collection and their brown SNAP Binder.
One of my favorite things to do in my album is decorate the notebook pages, inside of the album and chipboard pages with rub-ons. The quality of these rub-ons is fantastic and they look beautiful! I especially love the cluster of snowflakes and reindeer.

My sister took lots of beautiful photos of the scenery and I did my best to use most of them in the album adding just the right stickers and die cuts to the pages to make them fun. This collection is perfect for these photos with the brown, white, and blue color scheme.

I thought this page would be fun for my sister to jot down her favorite memories etc. It's a page from the 6x8 paper pad and I love decorating these pages with chipboard, stickers and other fun embellishments to add dimension.
All of these binders come with clear pages, chipboard inserts and notebook paper. These binders are truly perfect for documenting your memories. Check out all the beautiful colors, here. I used a variety of rub-ons and stickers to make the pages more fun.

The chipboard frames are super fun and I like to get creative with these... I matted a bigger chipboard frame with patterned paper that is behind this page and mounted the photos and embellishments to the back. Next, I used foam squares to mount the chipboard frame to the picture. I used a hole punch to punch the holes and snapped it in the binder for a fun loose page!

The papers in this collection is absolutely stunning...the designs are beautiful and so perfect for winter. I used as many patterns if not all...in this album. LOVE the ledger paper with all the tickets. It's super fun. I decided to use part of that paper at the top to break up the snowflakes and I really like how both papers compliment each other even though they are very different.
I used another paper from the 6x8 paper pad. This layout is pretty simple. I printed two 3x4 photos. Matted them with patterned paper. Next, I added two more pieces of patterned paper across the center to add more layers and then I placed down the photos along with the embellishments.

This is one of my favorite layouts in this album. It's so serene...and lovely. That picture is beautiful and I wanted it to pop off the page. I used a variety of die cuts to mat the photo and then added a few snowflake stickers and the fun-ons at the bottom.
I couldn't now include a photo of the food she ate during her travels. It's perfect with the napkin and the embellishments really make this pop with the tags and cluster of die cuts. I tucked the cocoa mug sticker slightly behind the die cuts so everything looked great together. There is just enough space for Katie to journal at the bottom, too.

I hope I inspired you today! I put a lot of thought and time into these albums because I'm passionate about making albums for my friends and family...and also I hope to inspire you to try this format. It saves a lot of space on your shelves, too! Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a great week.

Nic
