SEPTEMBER/A CHERRY ON TOP

Hello, friends! I'm sharing a layout I created using Simple Stories' For the Record collection. I had some scraps leftover from my SNAP Binder project and I wanted to put them to good use!

To begin, I cut the blue notebook patterned paper to measure 81/2x11. Next, I cut the orange patterned paper to measure 4"x11 and mounted it across the top of the layout. After that, I placed the 6x8 patterned print at the top at an angle to create an eye-catching design.

I matted two 3x4 photos onto patterned paper and mounted them down, slightly overlapping one another. Next, I added all the pretty embellishments!

I added a little journaling to the journaling tag and placed it at the bottom to fill in the white space. Next, I added a few more die cuts, enamel dots, decorative brads and a foam sticker to add dimension.
