Hello, friends. Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing two other layouts I created using the May Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. The kit features Simple Stories' Pink Lemonade collection. The colors are perfect for either spring or summer. I used the kit to create two summer layouts to show how versatile the kit is.
I added a splash of blue spray ink onto the white yardstick prior to embellishing this page. Next, I backed both 3x4 photos using journaling cards. After the photos were mounted down, I added all the beautiful embellishments in clusters. I love how fun and simple this layout is. It just screams summer.
I really like the big chipboard title nested at the top of the layout between the photos. It really adds a nice touch to the layout!
I clustered the flowers, pinwheel and tag together to frame the bottom photo. The full tutorial can be found below.
Here is the second summer layout I created with the kit. I wanted to use a variety of patterns to bring this layout together.
This was a relatively simple layout to make once the patterned papers were in place. I simply adhered the two 3x4 photos down and added the stickers and die cuts around the photos to frame it. I used foam squares behind the stickers to add dimension to the layout.
