Happy Monday! I'm so proud of myself... I haven't given up on Heidi's stop the blur memory keeping... So far this year, I've managed to keep up. Here's my spread I created for July. I still have one week to document...but this is all about Edward's 10 visit in New Jersey with his Meme.
I really struggled with this spread... I had a hard time figuring out where to place the photos...but once I mounted them down it got a little easier. I added some stamping here and there to add lots of color and words to help tell my story.
I really love the color scheme with the touch of pink. Super fun!
Some of the embellishments used are from Heidi Swapp's
Stop the Blur monthly kit. The vellum stickers were printed from one of her digital printables and then I cut them out to use. Super fun!!
I love Heidi's alpha stamps. They look so great with oxide inks! Seriously, you should grab a few. Once you start playing with them, you won't want to stop. :)
I looked everywhere for my Statue of Liberty die cut from Fancy Pants and couldn't find it...and then I forgot that I had a stamp from
Trinity Stamps, which is discontinued...boo! I love the way this looks on this spread. I colored her in using two shades of green alcohol markers.
The Very happy smiley makes my day. I love it so much!! Glad I have a printable so I can print him whenever I want! That's one of the perks of subscribing to Heidi Swapp's Stop the Blur Class subscription. Have given this scrapbooking memory keeping a try? I started in January and I honestly enjoy this way of documenting my stories!
Thanks so much for visiting today. I hope you have a fantastic week!
