LIFE IS BETTER WITH SNOW/MY CREATIVE SCRAPBOOK

Happy Sunday, friends! I've been relaxing and crafting all weekend and it's been nice! I'm just popping on to share two layouts I created using the January Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook. They are both super fun, and wintery and I just love how they came together. The full process videos are available on my YouTube channel for each one! I share tips and fun techniques that can be used on any paper crafting project.

I love this multi-photo layout with the hidden photo! I sued a variety of rub-ons to fill in the white space on the journaling card, photo and above the photos at the top of the page. LOVE how pretty they look.

The rub-on sentiment blends nicely with the photo and I especially love the heart.
I clustered a variety of embellishment across the bottom of the layout to fill in the white space and to add layers of fun! This is my favorite of the four layouts I created this month for My Creative Scrapbook.
For the second layout, I used a variety of photos and challenged myself to back up the cut file with patterned paper to create a pretty title for the layout. It took some time to do this, but oh my goodness...it was totally worth it! Isn't this layout so pretty?

I used rub-on sentiments to fill in the space below the cut file. LOVE how it looks...so pretty.
If you would like a closer look at this month's kit, the links are included below. Thanks so much for visiting today! Check out my process videos, here!

EXPLORE/PINKFRESH STUDIO

Happy Sunday, friends. I created a few projects today for assignments and found some time to create this layout for Pinkfresh Studio's monthly challenge. I love playing with layers so I had to participate!

This month is about playing with layers and there's still time to get your entries in.

I went a little overboard with the embellishments on this layout, but they are too good not to use. And I've been waiting for the perfect layout to use the travel collection. A month ago, I went to Colorado to visit my sister and she took these pictures of me at the top of Rocky Mountain... I was a little scared...lol. We were so high up the mountain and when I climb the rock to get this picture, I lost my balance because I was so scared. One slip and I was dead; literally. My husband told my son not to let me do anything stupid. He didn't listen.

I cut the tags in half and then place the photo over the pieces to make them look bigger.

The puffy stickers are super cute. I manage to squeeze a few on this multi-photo layout.

I filled in the patterned boxes with more die cuts and puffy stickers to fill in the white space.

I had so much fun creating this layout! I especially like that I was able to squeeze three photos and journaling on this layout. Thank you for visiting today. Hope you have a great week.

BLOOM/PRETTY LITTLE STUDIO

Good morning! Nicole here with a layout I created using bits and pieces from the Document Life and Wildflowers collection. Ah, doesn't this layout just scream, Spring!? Loving the pops of pink with the turquoise.

That striped circle patterned paper (Rosie)  really caught my eye and I had to use it!! It's so cool and it looks great on this layout. I used a 2" circle punch to punch a circle from my scraps to pop up at the top left-side of the layout and added the stickers for the title in coral. The other paper is from the Wildflowers collection.

I used a foam square to pop the "Saturday" circle die at the top and tucked the Spring Mix tab and sticker slightly behind it. The other labels are from the Wildflowers collection. The long journaling card is from the Summer Vibes collection.
I added a heart from the Bunny Food Die cuts to fill in some of the white space next to the labels.

I cut the "real life" word flag and mounted it on the circle using foam squares. I tucked a tag slightly behind the photo, too. Next, I placed the "love, love, love" sticker in one of the boxes and added some hearts to fill in the white space.

What do you think about this layout? I'm really liking all the patterns together! Thanks so much for visiting today.

FAMILY/PINKFRESH STUDIO

Happy Sunday, friends! I managed to get some scrappy time in this weekend and then I ran out of photo paper! Boo... I print my photos as I need them. Lesson learned... next time order them.

I joined the Pinkfresh Studio's Create and Connect event this weekend! The instructors are so great. I don't scrap along... I watch and learn some tips and apply them to my layouts. I don't like lifting layouts 100% because I like creating my own work, but those ladies are soooo talented!

I never really thought to use the washi tape to create a fun layout... and I love using patterned papers...but if you look closely, I only used journaling cards with lots of washi flowers cut from the tape!

Those gold alphas and enamel dots are so pretty. I just love them. What do you think? Isn't this so lovely?! I had so much fun making it, too. Thanks so much for visiting today!

LIFE MEMORY PLANNER/PRETTY LITTLE STUDIO

Good morning friends! Nicole here, with a memory planner page I created using the beautiful WildFlowers collection.

I had so much creating this spread because it gave me the chance to use lots of pretty die cuts!
I especially love the large florals die cuts! They are so pretty!! I cut it in half to use as a fun border.
And if you look closely, you will see how I used the tabs and clear stickers!

I cut the patterned paper down to fit in my memory planner. I love the purple and white striped paper and graph paper!

I layered a few hearts together and added the leaf die. Also, the tiny word stickers fit nicely within the tabs!

I couldn't help myself... I love the bumble bee die cut!! So cute! And I just love this little cluster of tags and embellishments. Makes me happy.

Have you tried playing around with a memory planner? It took me some time to get used to it, but after I found a style and method that works for me, I totally love it. Thank you for visiting today! Don't forget to check out the Wildflowers collection by clicking here.

SPECIAL MOMENT/PINKFRESH STUDIO

Happy Friday, friends! I'm off today and I've been itching to play with my stamps and stencils from Pinkfresh Studio

This month's challenge is all about flowers and I am all for it! I finally got the chance to use the Today is Special stamp set, stencil and dies along with my new blending brushes! Ah, so much goodness!

To begin, I embossed the stamped flower two times using Rose Gold embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.

This embossing powder is so pretty! I just love it so much.

Next, I used the layered stencils, inks and brushes to color in the images. I always enjoy this part! It's super fun and therapeutic.
I worked on two flowers at the same time to save time.

Isn't this so pretty? I chose purple and pink, pulling colors out from the photos.

Of course, I had to use some of the gorgeous gems!!

I decided at the last minute to add the stenciled hearts and splash of watercolor ink.

I also used bits and pieces of the Chrysanthemum collection.
What do you think? Isn't this lovely. This is my niece, Nathalie!

Thank you for taking a few minutes of your day to visit!

FEBRUARY MEMORY PLANNER/STOP THE BLUR

Happy weekend everyone. It was raining this morning so I took that moment to play in my memory planner. I just got my photos from Persnickety. Perfect timing...and I am looking at this photo...I realized I have the same photo on this spread twice...I'll have to cover one of them with another photo... easy fix. You know I love my books!

I'm still using up my stash of Heidi Swapp goodies. And the stamps that I have accumulated over the years. FUN, FUN, FUN!

I had a few puffy stickers and chipboard stickers from Elle's Studio that I manage to use, too. Lots of photos for a busy, and special month! My son turned 13!

I watched a lot of TV last month, which took away from my reading, but I have been so tired lately. I just want to snuggle up with my dog and just watch TV.

Mom took Edward and his friend to Main Event (arcade) for his birthday. They had so much fun! And while I was going through stuff, I came across the ceramic birthday plate from his pottery birthday party when he was 9.

Love this card/tag holder. I'm hoping that Heidi Swapp makes it into a metal die this year cause I just used the last one from my stash. Slightly bummed.

Random tags with chipboard pieces on them to tuck inside the die.

I'm totally loving the stamp work on this tag! Isn' it adorable?

Have you tried scrapbooking in a memory journal? It's super fun and it helps me get my stories told... Thanks so much for visiting today. Hope you have a fantastic weekend.
