STAY TRUE/PINKFRESH STUDIO

Good morning! I finally found some time to scrap. I played along to Pinkfresh Studio's challenge for the month, using their Delightful collection. It's bright... LOL 

There's still plenty of time to participate in their monthly challenge. This month is all about stripes and plaid. I decided to use some stripes on this colorful layout.

I really like the cubed patterned paper! It's super fun. I cut part of it to add a border at the bottom of the layout. There are lots of fun embellishments in this collection. I played with a variety of stickers! Normally, I reach for my die cuts, but not this time. I just wanted to use all the fun stickers!

I am gonna admit something. I have the hardest darn time placing enamel dots on my layouts! They never look right and I'm never happy with the placement of them and just want to pluck them off the layout, but I left them alone... what the heck. I am done fussing with them. LOL

I do love that butterfly. :) I used foam squares to pop it off the page to add dimension. I cut the "celebrate the wins" strip from a scrap piece of patterned paper. I knew my scraps would come in handy!

I had a hard time filling in the white space at the top. So I added some tags and the big title. I struggled with this layout and I think it's because I don't normally play with bright colors and combinations that are in this collection.

What do you think? I'm undecided! Eh... it's just OK to me, but I think we all have projects that we aren't overly thrilled with... I mean, they can't all be fantastic. :) Thanks for visiting today!
