Good morning, friends! I've been working on an album for Edward. My plan is to document his hobbies, add some candid shots of him and school pictures. It's hard getting him to cooperate when it comes to having his picture taken, but I have a decent amount of photos to work with...teehee.
For these layouts, I am using 49 & Market's Rust and Revs collection. I love this first layout...it's super grungy and I love it. I added a few rub-ons to add some orange coloring on the left-side of the photo, along with chipboard and die cuts to add layers. LOVE the chain laser cut die. That was a last minute addition to this 6x8 layout and it was perfect.I added the "Bold" rub-p sentiment to the tab after I inked the tab to add some coloring since it was white.
One of Edward's favorite places to eat is Five Guys. It's one of mine, too. Can you spot all the rub-ons? There are a few areas and I love how they look...I especially love the cluster of embellishments at the bottom.I used foam squares to pop up the embellishments to add dimension.
For my third layout, I decided to get creative with the chipboard frames. I used one to frame the photo and cut the excess off at the end. Next, I cut the frame in half diagonally and added a pieced at the corner and top of the layout. This really makes the design of the layout pop, don't you agree?
I added a cluster of tags, die cuts, enamel dots and rub-ons on the left-side of the framed photo to fill in the white space. Aren't these pages great! I'm just sorry I waited so long to play with this collection...I've been hoarding it. Thank you so much for visiting today! Be sure to check out my YouTube channel in the next few weeks. I will have three masculine process videos using this collection!Nic
