Good morning stampers! Who's ready for summer?! We have had some weird weather this year in Maryland... I am looking forward to warmer, sunny days on the beach. But until then, let me share with you, this fun, summer layout I created using the DIY Stamp Set and the Journey Stamp Set.
I used the arrow's from the DIY Stamp Set to create a fun border vertically down the left-side of the layout.
Then I clustered some stickers, die cuts and chipboard pieces to frame the photos.
I used the tiny arrow stamp from the Journey Stamp Set to create another border below the collage of photos.
Then I used a few sentimental stamps from the Journey Stamp Set to stamp within the clouds, using a few foam squares to add dimension.
What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Happy Wednesday stampers! I'm back with another fun layout I created using the DIY Stamp Set, Happy Art Stamp Set and the Journey Stamp Set. I don't always plan to use different stamp sets on my layouts, but the truth is, when I'm creating, I don't have a real plan on the design. I just pull out papers, embellishments and start creating. And while I'm creating, I realize what I need so I look through my stamps to see what I can use to fill in the white space on my layout.
For this layout, I used Pinkfresh Studio's Joyful Days and Everyday Musings collection to embellish this layout. To begin, I stamped the scribble circle from the HAPPY ART STAMP SET onto white cardstock in two spots. I had a general idea as to where I wanted to place the photo so I was careful where I stamped because I wanted the scribbles to peak out behind the photo.
If you're looking for a fun challenge, check out Pinkfresh Studio's challenge for June!
I used the tiny paint splatter stamp from the DIY STAMP SET at the bottom just below the enamel dots.
Preciouse Remembrance Shop has buttons and Bits and Pieces to help embellish any project. I used them on here.
What do you think? Are you ready to add to your stamp collection? I am slowly building up my stamp collection and inks!
Happy stamping everyone! I have another fun layout to share with you today using the Sketchy Alphabet and Journey Stamp Set. Initially, I only intended on using the filmstrip stamp and the "enjoy the journey", however, my projects always turn out completely different from what I have planned. But in a good way. :) My sister Katie moved to Colorado back in November and I am really missing her... So until I see her in a few weeks, I will have to settle with making pretty layouts for her.
I mounted the camera sticker that's available in the shop at the bottom of the layout using a foam square. Love how these camera stickers are white because they can be colored using markers to make them work for just about any project.
I stamped the background using blue, green and pink ink along with the filmstrip stamp. Then I decided at the last minute... to add "go" to all the boxes using the Sketchy Alphabet Stamps. I colored them in using a blue marker.
I cut the "heart this" banner from the Today paper snippets and adhered it to the top of the photo. Then I stamped the "Enjoy the journey" sentiment below it using black ink.
To embellish the layout, I added a few embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio and Maya Road. Love the kraft butterflies!
I used molding pink paint to paint part of the layout pink then created the flowers using a stencil and molding paste.
Here's a process video for this layout! Thanks so much for visiting today!
