AWESOME BOY SNAP BINDER/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, friends! I'm super excited to share my recent SNAP Binder I created using the Rustic Legend collection. My mother hinted to me that she wanted me to create something with her boys...like a layout or something, and I thought to myself, I have enough photos to start an album for her! I'd rather give her an album so that she can flip through it when she needs a pick me up. And now that it's done, I am going to have a hard time passing it up and you'll see why. It's so AWESOME!

For the cover of the album, I used the plaid patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad. Next, I decorated the center of the album using Chipboard, foam stickers, stickers, die cuts and a decorative brad. I struggled with the placement of everything, but I am happy with how it turned out! I used sheer teal and lime ribbon along the album-pulling the colors from the patterned paper.
I decorated the book plate using a small card from the multi journaling spots that comes in the 6x8 paper pad. To make it fun, I added the rub-on stars and the decorative brad. Next, I used the rub-on stars to decorate the back of the cover. I love the rub-ons in this collection, they are so perfect. There's also a cover page for the album and a journaling page.
I printed several 3x4 photos to fit right inside the pockets. I love playing with pocket pages because it makes these albums come together in a SNAP. Well, maybe not a SNAP...more like three hours. But it's so worth it! I added the star rub-ons across the top of the photo and then glued the chipboard star to add dimension. Next, I added the ampersand onto the journaling card to fill in some of the space at the bottom of the card.
I have so many cute photos of Edward and Henry together over the past six years. They are so cute together and looking at these photos makes me realize how fast time goes by. I used the border sticker to create a fun frame by cutting it down and placing it across the top and bottom of the photo. Next, I created a flip pocket and added a variety of chipboard and stickers. There will be a link at the bottom of this post with a full tutorial on how to make this album!
I plan on going back through the album to journal. I just need to get my thoughts together on what I want to write because that's a whole other process!
I framed the photos with the chipboard frame and then cut two 4x6 journaling cards so they were attached. Next, I folded the cards in half to create a flip page. I added the embellishments to make it fun.
This is the page underneath the flip page. There is plenty of room on the tag to include the story behind this photo...Edward's first time meeting his cousin, Henry. The look on their faces...they became buddies on the very first day.
I decorated the pocket with the 6x8 patterned paper and then used the pocket die cut to create a pocket for hidden tags! Love how this looks with the pocket, stars and tags!
I love using the journaling card paper from the 6x8 paper pad to add embellishments. These are perfect for documenting special sayings or moments!
And that's a wrap of my Awesome Boys SNAP Binder. Be sure to check out my tutorial for tips and techniques on how to bring your pocket pages to life with interactive elements and hidden pockets! I hope you found this inspiring because I'm super proud of it! Thank you so much for visiting today.
