GRATEFUL

Just sharing this gorgeous layout I created using American Craft's patterned paper and die cuts from Vicki Boutin. I am loving the color scheme and all of those gorgeous flowers!! I went a little overboard with the die cuts.

Since the "Grateful" die was really bright white and I didn't think it looked right against the dark colors, I used a blending brush to add some green ink to it. :)

Aren't these die cuts beautiful? I just love them so much. They have been in my stash awhile... sometimes, I have a hard time using my favorite collections...I'm trying to break that habit.

More flowers on the right-side and I really wanted to squeeze that house on here somehow... I really enjoying layering embellishments on my projects. They make me happy.

I used a butterfly and sentiment metal die from Brutus Monroe to create the butterfly and sentiment at the top of the layout to fill in the white space.

And I popped the dragonfly up sing foam squares to add dimension. Love how whimsy this turned out.

What do you think? It's a lot, I know... :) Thanks for visiting me today, friends!

HOME/FELICITY JANE STUDIO

Happy Sunday everyone! I've been playing and relaxing this weekend. I snapped this selfie of Edward and me back in January and have been waiting for the right products to scrap it! For this layout, I used Felicity Jane's Aspen kit to create this layout.

This kit is shocked full of fun embellishments! I especially love the chipboard pieces. They have a nice quality and matte finish, which I love. The scalloped borders are fun, too! And the color palette is so pretty.

I glued the chipboard and stickers onto the scalloped borders to add dimension.

Initially, I was going to add some stamping below the "my happy place" chipboard, but I decided to add a few stickers instead.

I enjoyed making this layout. Super fun! Thanks for stopping by today!

FALL/FELICITY JANE

Happy Sunday friends! I'm sharing a layout I created using Felicity Jane's Mollie Kit. It is finally looking like Fall in my neighborhood! My street is so pretty right now. I snapped this photo a few days ago. I actually cut the photo in half to make two pictures for this layout and it totally worked!

I matted both photos using the journaling cards and then placed them in the middle of the layout, tucking another card off to the side so that everything does not look too straight.

There are so many beautiful embellishments in this kit... I wanted to use them all. My favorites include the fabric heart and chipboard frames...oh and the die cuts. :)

The chipboard has a really nice finish. I must say, Felicity Jane offers great quality product. These embellishments are not made out of thin paper... And I love that each kit has a stamp set. They are great for filling in white space.

Layering embellishments is my favorite thing because the best thing I enjoy the most when creating is playing with embellishments!

To complete the layout, I added some more stamping at the bottom of the layout. The heart journaling block and stitching stamp set is from Elle's Studio. I needed something for my journaling and this worked out perfectly!

Thanks for visiting today! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

OUR DAY/FELICITY JANE STUDIO

Happy Sunday friends! I've been scrapbooking all weekend just for fun...no DT projects. What I really should be doing, is cleaning...but that can wait another week. :)

I created another layout using the September kit from Felicity Jane Studio. I love fall...and since it's not quite fall yet... I dug out my photos from last year. I just love this photo of my mom with her grand-sons. It's super cute.

I really like these patterned papers! Normally, I would use a bigger patterned in the background and the smaller patterns in the front, But I reversed them today because I just love the modern look of this layout.

I cut the other patterned papers at different angles to mat the photo. Since I was using a modern paper with big shapes, I did not want to use regular mats in a rectangle. I wanted to create some type of angled background for the photos.

I used a metal tag die from Elle's Studio to create the tag and then added the velvet pink trim. Then I added the cluster of die cuts and stickers at the bottom with some stamping. I used Blush ink from The Stamp Market to kind of blend the ink into the layout.

To complete the layout, I added the tab, stickers and dies at the top right-side of the layout. Isn't this layout super cute? I really like the overall design of this layout. If you want to see the full collection, click here. You'll want it... just warning you.

BACK TO SCHOOL/FELICITY JANE STUDIO

Hello everyone. I received my first box from Felicity Jane Studio last night and I'm in love with this month's kit. At first glance, it looks too pretty to use for a boy layout, but it totally works!

My favorites from this kit include the die cuts...(shocker) and I love the little tabs and stamps. Everything looks so nice together. Seriously, this is such a great kit.

I layered a variety of journaling cards at the top to create a fun frame for the layout and then I added the chipboard and die cut tag and heart.

I was determined to find a way to use the pencil and apple dies... I just love them... so I clustered them together with a paper clip and stickers. Super fun.

I printed my journaling on a journaling card to use for the layout. Initially, I was going to add my own hand-journaling, but I was afraid that the dots would make it look hard to read.

I added a few additional die cuts to the left-side of the journaling to fill in some of the white space.

What do you think of this kit? Not only is it perfect for scrapbooking those beautiful fall photos, but they are also great for documenting your child's first day of school. :)
